An excellent above average couse.
This course is well maintained. Always a good lie in the fairways.
50 people with the same tee time
When I booked the tee time I saw a it as an unbelievable deal. After approaching the first tee mW and my playing partner saw why it was a deal. Not only were we booked for the 6pm tee time but apparently so were the 20 players waiting in front of us on the first tee. I cannot complain about the rate because it was $8 for "18 holes". But we barely had enough time to play 9 holes in 3 hours on tye dot and quit at dark. Next time around I will pass if the same offer stands.
very scenic course
They were very friendly, called us by name. Resevations right on details and lovely practice putting greens available. Played as twosome and had no problems. Very scenic course.
A great course to play.
The tee boxes are flat, the fairways are in great condition with nice grass. The greens were a little fast but in nice condition.
nice and enjoyable
A nice golf course and with a strategic layout with tee boxes with varying distances. Never too crowded.
Bring some extra balls.
Bay Valley’s a demanding golf course. There are a few easy holes and a number of rather challenging ones. Holes 6, 8, and 14 are especially difficult. Water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. The greens are huge and most are multi tiered. I thoroughly enjoy playing this course again and again.
For Mid November the course played well. It was clean of leaves and greens were clean.
A challenging course with opportunity to score on the par fives and a few short par fours.
good conditions and fair play for a variety of golfers
The course was in great shape and is very fair for a variety of golfers. We stayed at the resort as well, the rooms are fair, the exterior of the building needs some attention. The restaurant at the resort wasnt as enjoyable as last year, maybe we caught the restaurant staff on a less than good night.
Great for all level of Players
This course is very playable from the blues for the average player. Don't be afraid to take your "Better Half" with you. The Reds are very friendly for the ladies. The only force carry for the women is on the Heather Hole. Par 3 75 yards over a dry swamp. The greens are fast, but put true.
There is a lot of water on the back nine. It is more of an illusion that a real hazard to your score!
A great course in Mid MI.
When we played Bay Valley,it had rained about 6 inch's the night before. For the most part the fairway's were dry, and the green's were in good shape. One par three tee was moved on the other side of the river,do to mud. Would like to play it again when the weather and ground's or better.
