Grand View at its best
Grandview is a great course to play. A great value compared to the resort close by. I am a average golf and find it challenging. My wife, a non-golfer, rode along and enjoyed the beautiful views. High on my list of the great golf courses in the area.
Excellent Value and Fun Course
Try and play here at least once a year, this was my first time this year, and glad I made it out. Thoroughly enjoyed my round, the course was playing as great and fun as always! Highly recommend playing here.
Great Course
First time playing and was somewhat challenging due to not knowing the layout. Not a lot of level lies and some blind shots, but overall would definitely recommend playing. However, do bring a couple extra sleeves of balls just in case.
This course is in great condition.
Beautiful course with rolling hills and wonderful views. Challenging course that is in great condition. Well worth the full price but if you can get a discount you might as well be stealing! Definitely one of the best public courses you will ever play.
Steve
Course and greens were quite dry. Greens were long and slow and varied from front side to back side.
Awesome day!
GolfNow provided a great price during s hot deal special. The course was well groomed and was a challenging course with hills, rocks, and water. We would definitely take advantage of future specials.
A Very Nice Course, but...
I love this course and I usually make the drive and play it 4 to 6 times a year. It is beautiful and it is challenging without being gimmicky.
Ordinarily the greens are pristine and fast, but this year so far they are shaggy and too slow for good putting. I suspect that this is because it has been so cold in Michigan this spring that they are protecting the greens from frost. But, when the weather improves, I hope the greens return to their normal condition.
Best Groomed course in western Michigan
If it was closer Id play this course before I would others in the area
Our best golf day of the year!
Played this course about twenty five years ago; forgot what a beautiful layout this course is especially with the fall colors every hole has interesting contours and features; however unless you hit a 250 plus drive play the 18th conservatively one of the most beautiful and challenging holes in western Michigan.
challenging but accessible
Beautiful course, well maintained, choice of tee boxes will challenge any level of golfer.
If you like fast greens you will love this course
Great course, good course conditions, very fast greens. Loved it!
This course is spectacular and the views are to behold
Played the course for the first time, not sure why I waited so long. The leaves were just changing and the views are amazing for the many elevated tees. Make sure you play the proper tee boxes to gain the full experience
Great course, great value
The best course in West Michigan I have played. And with the 'Golf Now' discount, a super great value. Each and every hole is a super golf experience. Very challenging course, so I played the front tees to make more enjoyable. I will go back.
Amazing potential
This course was once one of the top new course in the country via Golf Digest but it has fallen on hard times and gone through multiple owners. It is on amazing land with rolling hills and plenty of lakes. The greens were in very good shape, fairways a little shaggy and most bunkers filled with dirt mixed with stones.
The big issues come when you take a closer look. Tons of maintenance needed to kill weeds starting to take over the fringes of the gold course, such as the rough. Edges of the bunkers are nothing more than weed beds that will only get worse over time.
Range balls were given out in a used plastic grocery shopping bag.
All said because of the quality of the putting surfaces and the lay out it was still a great value at under $40 including cart and balls.
The course is in great shape
Grandview golf course is in excellent shape! I try and make it to this course at least once a year, and it never disappoints. The course is a little short from the white tees, however, the blues will increase the difficulty. Also, the course is hilly adding to this wonderful courses features. The short 98 yard par three island green is always fun. The greens were true and in great condition. The best part of my round was slam dunking a 65 yard approach out of the sand on hole 10 for an eagle! Overall this course is fun and I would recommend it to any of my friends.
Pristine Shape
What a great course in west Michigan! The course is in great shape and I think it's even more scenic than the Thoroughbred at Double J. Can't wait to go back. Staff is very friendly and I enjoyed the round we played!
greens held shots, rolled at consistent speed
course was a fun, and challenging from the white tees. greens were perfect. pick your tees wisely on this track,as play from back tees will definitely impact your score!
Favorite Course
This is truly one of our favorite courses to play. The course is always maintained very well and the staff is very friendly. It's always a great experience to play Grand View.
This course is a well maintained course.
Grand View is a very playable, yet challenging course. The greens are in great shape and roll true. Shot selection is key as this isn't your typical bomb and go course. You'll enjoy this course!!!
Really good course with very challenging holes.
Great deal on a course that I believe was closed for a couple of years but was in really good shape. A very challenging course.
