Par 3 third hole. Hard to see elevation change, but it’s pretty significant. I think this is the “signature hole,” because it’s the one featured on the website. Photo submitted by jt20sb22 on 07/20/2024

Plenty of Trees
The course winds through trees but the fairways are generous enough if you can hit them - if not --. Grass was a little high in the fairways - needed a cut. Greens were in good shape and true.
Awesome
enjoyed the golf round, great setup and fairways and greens real nicely maintained
Excellent
Always enjoy coming up here every year. Golf course is always in great shape, staff is friendly and helpful. Pace of play is good for how busy they are. And the packages are a steal. Highly recommended
Nice course in excellent condition. Only issue was slow play by players ahead of us.
Jim’s Game
Course is well maintained. Putting greens are in very good condition. Most fairways are open with minimal difficulty. Would play again and definitely recommend to others.
Amazing course for money
For the price, you can't go wrong with this course. You have the option of playing either 18 hole course or 9 hole. You can play either or during twilight time.
Okay Course for $10
We played the Spruce course for $10 on a Hot Deal. That’s about all it’s worth. The greens were rolled well, but the course was wet in many spots when it should have been fairly dried out after three days of hot weather. The bunkers weren’t maintained, the tee boxes needed to be cut, and the food was mediocre at best. Even the beer cart needed a brick as a break. For $10 it might be worth it, if it weren’t for the fact that there was no ranger to keep the pace of play up. My fiancé and I were a twosome that a slow as molasses threesome wouldn’t let us pass. We won’t be playing here again, even for $10 a player.
Well Maintained
Excellent course. Greens and fairways in great shape. Fairways are fair. Greens nice size and run true. Snack shack at turn with beverage cart that will keep you hydrated. Will go back.
We'll be back!
Course was in great shape when many of the others are under water. Very enjoyable.
Norway is Gem of 9 holes
I was visiting family in Cadillac and had a few hours on a Sunday morning to play nine holes of golf. Picked this course because I had played it before when the resort was under previous ownership and I wanted to see the changes the new owner had done to the resort. The course was in amazing shape! Huge improvement over last time I played it. Even with a heavy dew the greens were quick. Only complaint was the sand in the bunkers wasn't raked from day's previous play (and the guy in from of me didn't rake either but since it was early, they probaby hadn't had a chance to do that yet. I'll be back to play The Spruce and definitely The Norway again.
tough but fair course
we found the course in great shape. greens were a little difficult to read. narrow fairways, so we left several balls in the trees. overall, a tough little course but fair.
