Evergreen Resort

I played this course in fall. Being a local I noticed that the course is being maintained much better than years previous. The only glaring flaw was that the bunkers are not well kept. Fall prices were amazing but it looks like their summer rates are a bit high. Giving a full five stars due to the friendliness of the staff and the value.

Have played here for years. Course is notably better shape this season.

If you’re looking for “up north” golf, go elsewhere. Not much to this course layout.

I went in mid May and the course was not in good shape. I give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s early in their season, but the prices should be reduced accordingly.

Below are an example of conditions of the rough and tee boxes throughout the course. Dandelions, uncut rough, and leaves from last season made it nearly impossible to find your ball unless it was in the fairway.

Be mindful that booking an early tee time could mean you are delayed because of frost. My 0700 tee time was incrementally pushed back 2 hours due to “below freezing temperatures”, although it was as warm as 53 degrees and I was still told to wait.

With that said, the pace of play was great. 0900 on a weekday, i didn’t see a body the entire round. Maybe there’s a reason for that.

4 , yes FOUR groups backed up ALL ON THE SAME HOLE . A foursome , a twosome, a twosome, a twosome and a foursome were ALL waiting for 6 holes for a foursome all ahead of us stacking up the course like cordwood for all of the 9 holes !! Gruesome and excruciatingly slowwwww round to say the least. Have ALWAYS had good luck at this course until today , and there is NO excuse for allowing the course and ONE foursome group to bring the WHOLE course to a standstill EVERY shot for 9 holes...... Ugh

The course winds through trees but the fairways are generous enough if you can hit them - if not --. Grass was a little high in the fairways - needed a cut. Greens were in good shape and true.

Always enjoy coming up here every year. Golf course is always in great shape, staff is friendly and helpful. Pace of play is good for how busy they are. And the packages are a steal. Highly recommended

Nice course in excellent condition. Only issue was slow play by players ahead of us.

Course is well maintained. Putting greens are in very good condition. Most fairways are open with minimal difficulty. Would play again and definitely recommend to others.

For the price, you can't go wrong with this course. You have the option of playing either 18 hole course or 9 hole. You can play either or during twilight time.
