About Gull Lake View Golf Resort
Since the 1960s, the Scott family has transformed 2,000 acres in southwest Michigan into one of America's largest golf resort communities. Situated in the appropriately named Augusta, Michigan, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Gull Lake View Golf Resort has become synonymous with affordable packages where golfers stay in comfortable villas to enjoy six different courses, all from different eras. The East and West courses were built in the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, with the two Stonehedge courses added later in 1989 and 1994. The family bought the Bedford Valley, a classic course known for hosting tournaments, in 1988 and then put the feather in the cap, debuting the linksy Stoatin Brae by Renaissance Golf Design in 2017. Those who fall in love with the experience can buy real estate in one of several neighborhoods.Facts

Great for all players
The course was in great condition the greens were well maintained! Some challenging hole and others allowed you too attack! Tough pin placement this day lead to a satisfactory 79! I would recommend this course to all skill levels fun and challenging just know what box you should play from! Choosing the right color box will determine how much fun you have!

Excellent value
An "old style" course with "what you see is what you get" holes. No tricks, but a series of interesting and varied holes. Lots of trees, but not much thick rough, so finding wayward balls is easy. The greens were in great condition. Easily one of the best golf values in mid-Michigan if you are looking for a quality course.

Championship Track, Value Priced
North of Battle Creek, about 30 minutes from I-94, Bedford Valley is a local gem well worth the visit. Picturesque from start to finish, the course will provide a fun challenge for all golfers. Tricky greens, some water and green-side bunkers make you want to think before you swing!
The facilities are excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is more food offerings. Will definitely play again.

Stonehedge North
It was a great course, the pro tips were helpful. It hadn't rained for over a week when my group played, fairways were firm. This is going to become a regular in our Thursday night golf rotation.

S L O W P L A Y ! No Ranger = 5 Hour and 22 Minute Round
Well, on a positive note, the course was in nice shape, the greens held nicely and rolled well and there were several interesting holes. But that's where any enjoyment to this round ended. The players on this particular day were VERY slow and really LOUD. You could hear groups yelling a half a dozen holes away which included far too many expletives. Rude golfers who had no concept of even rudimentary courtesy coupled with the close proximity of too many tee boxes and greens made it difficult to focus on the game. Funny, as we are putting out on 18, a cart comes flying up toward the first tee with Michael Jackson blaring through some sort of boom box. That wasn't the only music we heard either during the round. Frankly, it is more serene playing miniature golf at Captain Jacks Fun Land than this place. Sad really. We waited on EVERY shot for eighteen holes. Hint to management....get a Ranger who knows what he's doing out there to move the slow pokes along. We have played other tracks in this Gull Lake group of courses that were truly enjoyable be we will NEVER come back to this place. There are plenty of other great places to play golf, don't waste your money here.

Well worth the play....
Arrived for a 9:27 tee time. Welcomed by pro shop staff. Hit a few practice shots and headed to the first tee. Marshall got us off early and we played as a twosome. Played the front nine in 90 minutes. Arrived at 10th tee and marshall asked us if we wished to skip over to 15 as we had caught people in front of us. We played 15-18 and returned to play 10-14. Total time to play was 3 hours. Course conditions were excellent and variety of holes outstanding. Would highly recommend playing Gull Lake West.

great value
Big greens, true reads- stay below the hole. Nice mature trees, a bit tighter on the back. Most greens are a bit elevated requiring a bit more club. No gimmicks.

A beautiful course
I keep returning to Stonehedge South golf course as I deem it to be one of the prettiest courses in West Michigan, while still providing a significant challenge. The course is very well maintained by a most courteous maintenance staff, who go about their business while constantly respecting your play.

Bedford Valley is excellent
An old course with great character. Huge trees, excellent course conditions, hilly terrain, perfect greens. Of all the gull lake courses I played, this was my favorite.

Beautiful conditions and had a fun round with a couple of friends.
Like all the GLV courses.
Easy to use the LM Tee Time website.
Could've stood to have the food cart girls out there, but otherwise all was fine.

Not quite as good as the North Course
Stonehedge South is a short, tight course that's a lot of fun to play. The 6,6,6 format is a welcome change from normal course layouts and the course is well taken care of. There's not a lot of water on this course, but they do get you with bunkers. Driveable par 4's have sand in front of them and there are bunkers in the landing areas of some par 5's.

Best course ever played for the money
I have been playing golf for 30 years and have played many top rated courses but for the price and course conditions this topped them all. Excellent fairways, well kept greens and beautifully tree lined. I was in town for a weekend getaway and my wife and I always try to play someplace different. She is new to golf and played the entire round with the same ball!! Bonus. Can't wait to come back and play again. Bring bug spray as the Mosquitos can get pretty bad on a couple water holes. Excellent value for the money, A plus experience. Great job to the course super intendant.

Aday at Stonehedge South
Course is tight, makes you think and the greens are tough. I liked the overall layout. I would one thing with the weather as hot as it was they only had one beer cart for 36 holes, it mattered because there wasn't enough water available around the course.

Nice courses for the money
Played both courses 7/20 and was suprised they were in that good of condition after so much rain in the previous days. Staff were friendly and helpful. They could use a little better selection of food at the turn.
