Gull Lake View Golf Resort
About Gull Lake View Golf Resort
Since the 1960s, the Scott family has transformed 2,000 acres in southwest Michigan into one of America's largest golf resort communities. Situated in the appropriately named Augusta, Michigan, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Gull Lake View Golf Resort has become synonymous with affordable packages where golfers stay in comfortable villas to enjoy six different courses, all from different eras. The East and West courses were built in the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, with the two Stonehedge courses added later in 1989 and 1994. The family bought the Bedford Valley, a classic course known for hosting tournaments, in 1988 and then put the feather in the cap, debuting the linksy Stoatin Brae by Renaissance Golf Design in 2017. Those who fall in love with the experience can buy real estate in one of several neighborhoods.Facts

Really Enjoyable Course
Stonehenge North is a fun layout and is in good shape. It has six 3s, 4s, and 5s, which makes for a nice variety. The course was in good shape all over. The rough was starting to get a bit dry in spots due to the recent heat wave, but all the fairways and greens were green. The greens were a bit slow, but rolled true. Of the Gull Lake courses I've played, Stonehenge North ranks second behind Stoatin Brae and is usually significantly cheaper.
Classic course in great shape
Bedford Valley is a classic golf course with sand traps guarding most greens and along the fairways to catch a slice or hook. The trees are very mature and sometimes create a narrow driving window. Greens were in excellent condition, the ball rolled very true and just fast enough to keep it interesting.
Challenging!
Beautiful day on a beautiful course. Up North scenary! Need to keep your driver in the bag for lots of holes. Overall, happy w the decision to play at Stonehedge South. Play it next time your in Battle Creek👍
Love the electric golf carts
Played on Memorial Day. The West course didn’t seem very busy for a holiday. We are slower golfers and didn’t feel super rushed.
The electric golf carts are really nice here. We will definitely return to play the East/West courses because they are fun, but also because of the electric golf carts. We don’t want the gas fumes around during pregnancy.
Goose poop
Besides the goose poop which was everywhere! It was a decent course challenging enough for good golfers and easy enough not so good golfers
Great place.
The north course is one of my favorites in the greater kalamazoo area. We’ll cared for, friendly staff, good deals can be found to play here. Love the 3-3-3 layout on each 9. Wish more courses did that.
Nice course
The pace of play was good. We were beginning and slower than most, but other groups were friendly when playing through.
The golf carts aren’t electric like they are at other Gull Lake View courses, and we didn’t like the gas fumes while my wife is pregnant. We really enjoyed ourselves otherwise, but probably won’t return to Stonehedge until they switch to electric carts.
Excellent course with 6 par 3’s, 6 par 5’s, and 6 par 4’s.
Challenging but fair
Great shape, clean well maintained course and club house
