Gull Lake View Golf Resort
About Gull Lake View Golf Resort
Since the 1960s, the Scott family has transformed 2,000 acres in southwest Michigan into one of America's largest golf resort communities. Situated in the appropriately named Augusta, Michigan, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Gull Lake View Golf Resort has become synonymous with affordable packages where golfers stay in comfortable villas to enjoy six different courses, all from different eras. The East and West courses were built in the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, with the two Stonehedge courses added later in 1989 and 1994. The family bought the Bedford Valley, a classic course known for hosting tournaments, in 1988 and then put the feather in the cap, debuting the linksy Stoatin Brae by Renaissance Golf Design in 2017. Those who fall in love with the experience can buy real estate in one of several neighborhoods.Facts

Unhappy with the back 9
Front 9 conditions were great! Back 9 was horrible wet muddy just a mess fairways were tore up! I have grown to expect more from this course. Just didn’t live up to my expectations!
Pace of play and design at question
What’s a better way to start a back 9 then wait for over 30 minutes to tee off on 10. Taking forever to complete the back nine we considered multiple times just quilting the round(something we have never done before). The course was in good conditions but lots of unfair golf holes. The design tried to use the terrain and elevation but did not work to its advantage. A would never recommend this course to anyone unless for a really cheap deal under $20.
Gull Lake East
Condition of the courses was good for the time of year. I was surprised that there were not more people of golfing that day. Pace was excellent. Will play again for sure especially with a hot deal.
Un-happy
Was under impression that I made a reservation for the first beautiful day of spring Saturday April 23rd, apparently I accidentally made it for a cold Tuesday April 19th . Showed up to the course for the tee time I thought I had made (23rd), course explained to me I didn’t have a reservation for that day and to call GolfNow, and GN would reach out to them and they would confirm what happened so I could get a refund for the Tuesday(19th) I didn’t even show up or have any intention of playing golf on.
Had to do it the next day (Sunday) because GN’s customer service was nearly impossible to find and closed after 5. GN reached out to SHN to confirm what happened, and SHN didn’t confirm my refund. Won’t be playing this course ever again, horrible at answering the phone and untrue to their word. Was also told cart path only, but the members that were holding me up the whole front nine were driving all over the fairways.
Great Course
Fairways & Greens were in good shape. Pins were fair but challenging. Overall 5 star especially for the price.
Good layout.
Course is in pretty good condition over all. Enjoy the layout some challenging holes. Have to decide best way to play each hole.
Very rude cocky bearded guy went by TR I believe
Never ever ever have I ever been treated or spoken to like that in a pro shop of any golf course I have ever been to.TR was the guy's name I believe. He has absolutely no business in any way shape or form in customer service. Him and him alone is the only reason I will not go back to that golf course.
Nice course, SLOW play
Beautiful, well maintained course, but the foursome of regulars in from of us wouldn't let our twosome play through and were VERY SLOW
