About Inn at St. John’s
This unique property became a golf resort in 2006 when the former St. John's Provincial Seminary reopened as the Inn at St. John's, a boutique, four-diamond property adjacent to the 27-hole Brae Burn Golf Club. The 118-room inn features Romanesque architecture, two ballrooms with 25-foot ceilings, a two-story atrium and 22 meeting rooms. The more casual Burger Loft complements the fine dining 5ive Steakhouse and Bar. The course, dating to 1923 before a third nine was added in the 1990s, shares its site with Carl's Golfland at St. John's, one of the country's premier golf stores. There's also a covered, heated range at Carl's to bang balls year-round to prepare for your battle with "The Monster" - the nickname for the 666-yard 13th hole, the longest par 5 in the state.Facts

Overbooked
Way overbooked, multiple 5 somes ahead of us, pace of play was horrendous

Enjoyed the challenge
First time playing. Have to get used to knowing where the greens are. Some blind shots. Not their fault it was soggy. Would go back. Staff very friendly.

Interesting course
Hole 13 - double dogleg. It was fun. Too much weeds on Fairway. Little maintenance.

Challenging greens!
Very fun course and the “Monster” on the 13th hole is like a professional hole. I hit driver, 3wood, five wood just to make the green, but the conditions were rather wet. From the back tees you better have your A game! The putting is very challenging and there were no flat lies. I would still recommend this course, but take it lightly on the putting, a pro would have trouble on most of these greens!

Was unable to finish round
While on 13 I was looking for a ball close to the woods and I was riding in the rough as your signs said to. Well there was a really soft spot and I ended up mud from head to toe. Is there anyway I csn get a rain check? I wanted to finish but was soaked snd covered in mud. Please let. Me know thanks!

Great condition
Finally dried out and the greens are great after aerating..other than 17. Everything is green and great. Play it b4 the leaves fall! Got 3 more great weeks.
