The 42-room Manistee National Golf and Resort is another Michigan bargain that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle among the state's crowded golf resort scene. Its two courses, Cutters Ridge and Canthooke Valley, are very enjoyable cart rides through northern Michigan. The addition of an outdoor pool and hot tub have made the inn more hang-out friendly. Geat course lay-out with little golfer traffic
Great Condition. Need to get off good tee shots to score well. Challenging course lay-out.
Bring lots of balls!
This course will challenge average distance hitters with its tight fareways and many, many hazards. It is beautiful and well maintained. Be prepared to lose some balls ... and some confidence.

I've played both Canthooke and Cutter's, and let me tell you these golf courses are an amazing value for the money spent. I will definately be going back there again, possibly even staying at their hotel next time.
This course is very playable with great scenery. Cut out of the Michigan north woods.
We plan on playing this course for years to come. Staff was super friendly. Pace of play was smoking fast and extremely
well maintained. Great value for the money.
Always smooth play
Course is always well maintained, but never seems to be very busy. Play is always smooth and never "overbooked".
Beautiful, challenging course.
It is a beautiful course cut out of the woods. It is a challenging course; requiring precision shots to stay out of trouble. It is not for the beginning golfer.
