Reviews
Unique track!
Very interesting layout with amazing elevation changes throughout. Some blind/semi-blind shots that for me as a first timer made it play even tougher.
Good conditions overall and a good value in the realm of Northern Michigan golf.
Staff was not helpful
We had never played here and the girl was not very helpful.
Excellent day of golf
Great value. The course was in very good condition, especially the fairways and tee boxes. A few greens had a trouble spot but overall was in great shape.
A beauty must play in MI
This course was in fantastic shape. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Northern Michigan
Great views and excellent design
Always a pleasure to play. We were able to play a relaxed game with no one pushing us.
Play It
The Tribute is a challenging course with numerous holes that require carries to test your length and/or club selection. We always enjoy playing the Tribute, and the course is in great shape. If you meet Ranger Lou, he and the beverage cart girl are the best ambassadors for the course. Go…Play… Enjoy!!!
This course was not maintained at all!!
I will never play this course again, absolutely not taken care of at all. I paid 35 dollars for 18 and a cart and they couldn’t pay me to come play there again. Cart paths had roots coming out of them. No signs on where to go for the next hole. Had to drive through hole 7 to get the hole number 3 and so on. Some holes were absolutely sad to look at, if it was dry, not cut, not even being able to see the holes. If a person who didn’t have a gps on there phone they would have no idea where to hit the ball. No signs on how the hole is laid out. Waste of my time and money.
Great for All
Course was in good shape, greens rolled just a little slow. Course was busy, but still the groups moved at a good clip and kept things moving due to the open fairways. Overall, it was a classic layout with some cool views from high up on the slopes. Perfect spot for an opening round if playing the other courses in the area. Crew inside was awesome and we will be back!
Amazing views
This gem of a course is one of the best I’ve ever played. Great views from elevated tee boxes, lush fairways, and perfect greens. I’ll play this course as often as I can and recommend you don’t pass it up if you’re in Gaylord.
Otsego Resort
The course has a beautiful setting in the hills. Nice layout, some holes toght, lots of trees. Almost no water. Greens were in great shape. Friendly staff.
