The Inn at Bay Harbor

About The Inn at Bay Harbor
The Inn at Bay Harbor made a splashy debut in 1998, instantly becoming one of Michigan's grandest resorts. The 116-inn, which includes one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, as well as 35 cottages, became a part of Marriott's Autograph Collection Hotels in 2016. Guests get pampered with a full-service spa and salon, two restaurants and a cafe, a small beach and outdoor pool on Little Traverse Bay and access to 45 holes. The 27-hole Bay Harbor Golf Club, thanks to an incredible setting that roams through an old quarry, forest and along the lake, is regularly ranked among the top 100 courses in the country. The Crooked Tree Golf Club across the street delivers more panoramic water views.Facts

Nice course with scenic views of Traverse Bay.
Traditional northern Michigan course in a planned community. The final holes on the back nine have scenic views of Traverse Bay. Worth the premium greens fee.
Gorgeous scenery with wicked greens
Beautiful setting with the layout.
Best & fun& wicked greens I’ve ever been on
Worst customer service
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was followed around the pro shop like I was going to steal something. I was playing as a single, so I ask if I was paired up with someone. I was told no I was playing alone. I noticed that there were groups in front of me that didn’t have 4 if I could join them to keep pace of play on the course up. I was told no we don’t do that here and there was no room for me. That I would have to play as a single behind 8 groups of 2 and 3 people. I asked if I could get range balls, I was told no at 220pm because the range closes at 3pm. Everyone else was told the same. On the website there is not posted time of when the range is closed. Many people arrived early to be told they couldn’t hit. Behind me the head clubhouse guy let a group of 5 women play together. Course is beautiful but due to the staff I will never come here again.

Nice layout and fine condition
We enjoyed the day with family.Good all around staff, lay out and condition. We will be back.
Perfect Facility
Just an amazing day , tee off at 6:40 AM and wow the views and course were amazing ! Just over all amazing

We are glad you enjoyed the early morning views of Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Bay as much as you did the course. Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts and for your 5-Star Review!
Was beautiful but very slow, only because of one group, which we never saw a ranger
Crooked Tree
Beautiful spot
We love the open fairways and hills
Back 9 has many views of beautiful Bay Harbour
Solid Course
Played after links/quarry, which might have diminished crooked tree a tad. Still a very fine course, great condition and pace was fantastic. A couple holes tighten up if you don’t hit the fairway, so an accurate tee shot is a must or you might get frustrated with the OB.
Would recommend, but they’re are plenty of equally nice courses and quite a few nicer courses up in the area.
