Unique
Gorgeous golf course with a nice layout. Great value for the $50 we paid per player. I loved the elevation changes and the risk reward layout from the blue tees. I can't wait to get back.
Wonderful layout
Very nice course with very friendly staff. There are a couple of shots where,as a first time player, you have no idea what to hit or where to aim, but the "Pro's tips" on the cart are very helpful. Greens were very fast. All in all, lots of fun
Very nice golf course would recommend to anyone.
I enjoyed playing St.Ives it is an amazing course and very enjoyable, tough but fair, I would recommend playing here to everyone.
Nice Course
The course is very nice but they need to mark distances better.
This is a must play West Michigan course!
Very nice course and always in excellent condition. Very challenging but worth your time and money to play it.
Heavenly Views
Yes, just like the ad reads.Breathtaking setting with glacial-carved highlands and sprawling wetlands, outstanding course conditions combined with a beautiful backdrop make St. Ives a world-class golf experience. 5 star rating - YES. But, “Top 10 Courses in America for Women” by Golf for Women, NOT. Tullymore is better for women's golfing. 17th hole was home to every goose east of the Mississippi, bring your shotgun.
First Class - Golfing on the Ritz
Course was in super condition. Play was sooooo slow. 5 hours. I guess when you pay a lot of money to play it gives some people the right to ignore golf etiquette. Players took too long to find ball and did not fix divots. Course ranger must fear for his job.
Top 10 in Michigan
This course is well worth the higher green fee and drive.
Just wish I lived closer to play more often.
Worth the trip is search out this jewel.
We had a great time at St. Ives. Course is in great shape. The staff was very friendly. We will back sure we are back to St. Ives again to play soon.
Great golf at a great rate.
I had wanted to play Tullymore since it's opening. Now that I have played I must say St. Ives is my favorite between the two. Tullymore's front side is short and quirky.
A "Must Play" for Michigan
If you find a good bargain on golfnow.com for this course book it! You wont regret it! A lot of fun to play here and absolutely prestigious!
course maintained and layup shots needed from tee box.
Beautiful front 9 and good pace on front. Back 9 was not as pretty, Challenging greens. PACE on back 9 was VERY SLOW. We had to wait on every tee shot and many second shots. We were very willing to return to the course, until we reached the slow pace of play on the back 9.
Outstanding conditions.
I wa the first te time of the day and played in 2 hours. The facility has excellent practice range. Course is in excellent condition. Design of course is a little quirky, but the conditions make of for any design flaws. Greens are challenging. Staff was excellent. I would definitely recommend this course to any golfer.
Favorite course in Michigan
Absolute favorite course. No one ever seems to play here but I love it.
Every hole is unique and beautiful
Completely worth the drive; although GPS takes you to St. Ives. Once we found the course, everything went smoothly. Great place to play, with the exception of the 3rd hole. Weird is the best way to describe it. Every hole is well kept and beautiful. Great view, friendly staff, and scoring holes. A+
Top notch course for very reasonable price.
This is a great course, challenging and in great shape. It feels like an exclusive country club as you drive to the club house. Very friendly staff and there were lots of staff working on the grounds. The course is well designed with many interesting and challenging holes. It rained pretty hard just before we teed off and the first few holes were squishy, but the course soon drained and we had a great experience. Highly recommend this course as you get a great deal. I've paid twice the price for a course half as good.
Great track!
Only complaint was it was a bit slow as we were a threesome and there were a few slow foursomes in front of us. Rangers were very proactive, but 3 slow ones in a row are tough to speed up. Their GPS app didn't work great on my phone. Just never seemed to be able to keep the GPS up-to-date. Don't know if it was just because of service or what. Overall, great track, well maintained and great staff. Definitely will go back.
Wonderful place to play
Enjoyed every minute, great staff, knowledgeable, helpful. Excellent job with this beautiful golf course. Superb. Can't wait to play again....
beautiful golf course
This is a very nice golf course! Very aesthetically pleasing. Very nice clubhouse and staff. We drove 2 hrs to play and we will come back, worth the drive. One of the best finishing holes I have ever played!
A mix of challenges to make it interesting.
Several tee locations make this a great course for a large range of abilities. The greens are well taken care of and roll pretty fast. Fine fairways and a rough that can get deep in places promote smart and accurate play. Beautiful scenery and wildlife add to your experience at St. Ives. GOLFNOW is a big help to get you on this course more often.
