Great track
Very nice course and staff. Very fair, nice greens, fairways and tee boxes. No complaints other than my game. My wife rode along and there was no additional cart fee, very nice. Only small complaint was the section of the range that was open was getting pretty bare of grass.
Great Course
The clubhouse is fantastic. The hamburgers are really good. Staff was beyond friendly. Course was great. Greens are tough. Ground was wet. We had 2 issues at the end and the staff were very helpful in the situations. Will play again!
Great Course
Great course. Friendly staff. Out of the way a bit, but I think that keeps the crowds down. Played in less than 3 1/2 hrs with a third of the holes being cart path only. Course in great shape.
So nice!
Nestled in a national forest this Jack Nicklaus course is worth the drive. 5 tee boxes and a great layout.
Try to clear the river on 17!
* the road to it is windy and fun. Bring your peppy cars!
Best source in SE LA and SW MS imo.
Generous width and benign hazards make the course extremely playable, getting guests back to coastal casinos quickly to feed those slots.
The back nine is much more interesting, particularly the short par-4 13th, which offers excellent risk/reward value.
Keeps getting better
3rd Time I be played Grand Bear this year, and it keeps getting better! Love this course!
Awesome In every way
This is a true gem of a course and everything about it is pristine.
Great Course
Tee off at 150 with 2 groups of 3 somes in front of us. Couldn’t finish with Daylight Savings time and the slow play. Would definitely play again
First time
Long way off main road
Good staff helpful
Nice course bit tight in places
Green consistent although not as big as have played
Excellent course
Excellent, tee times are spread out, didn’t have to wait for golfers ahead or behind, little more than I like to pay for golf
Awful Management
I traveled to Biloxi for a golf weekend with my Dad and friends and we only finished 4 holes in hour and a half before we quit the round. The starter tried to warn us that a group had played the last 3 days and backed the entire course up. At one point on a par 5, we counted 5 groups stacked up on the same hole. This group of 6 players were responsible for the course back-up, but despite numerically to the club house, nothing was done. When I demanded my money back the GM made excuses about the Marshall not getting there until 9am on Saturday (Ridiculous for a weekend at an expensive course). He also stated that he should he was trying to address and should have communicated it to us. At this point, it was too late and it was clear that the staff was too inept to address the pace of play issues. I don’t usually write reviews or make recommendations, but nothing short of firing the GM will help with the total lack of management of the facility. His cowardice and inability to address a blatant disregard to golf etiquette for multiple days is inexcusable and frankly ruined our golf day. I will avoid this course at all cost and won’t recommend.
If I could
I would play here as many times as possible! Best staff, amenities, and the course is challenging and beautiful!
Great Course
Well maintained, friendly staff and the course can be very challenging. Would recommend to anyone visiting the coast.
