Good coarse for a good day
Coarse was great. Not a real long coarse,so all skill levels can play.
Great course
My wife and I play the Holliday Hills Golf Course every time we're in Branson, Mo.
the course is well maintained. Even after the severe rains , the course was in excellent shape. It is a moderately challenging course . Forgiving in most instances.
Holiday Hills
Staff was very friendly, even waving the ride-along fee so my son could ride with me. Course was challenging and the layout is great. I'm an intermediate golfer and even though I am slow at times, I only had one player that wanted to play through. Will definitely play again when I am at our time-share next.
Great round
I have played here several time in the past. It has always been one of my go to places to play while in Branson. Course was very wet this time due to a large amount of rain over the weekend but other than that we had a great round of golf.
Holiday Hills
Course still dormat greens just getting green good winter condition great value
Course condition
Course conditions were only fair, bunkers very wet and firm, greens were average
Never again...
Cart path only.. OK for the first couple holes then it was a dust bowl because of the winds. Nickle and dime operation, rent a cooler, extra for a covered cart, etc. Better courses in the area for the same price.
Late Winter Golf. Great warmup course.
Played on Feb. 28. Did not expect perfect conditions due to Mother Nature. Being from Wisconsin, just playing in Feb. was great. The course is very forgiving for average skilled level players. However, if you are a low handicapper, the back tees would be a fair test. We stopped into the Clubhouse after our round for a drink, and the Staff was really nice. We teed off at 8:20, and cruised around (twosome of average players). By the time we made the turn at about 10:10, there were two or three groups backed up at Number 1. Probably a very busy course. Overall, my wife and I loved starting out the spring golf season on a wide open course. Sometimes it's nice to play a course where every flub doesn't result in a total disaster.
Branson
Nice course, but weather was bad. This course is in a quieter part of the Branson area
Nice option
Interesting layout. Scenic. Not too difficult for women or higher handicap players but is hilly. Greens faster than I expected.
Enjoyed
Confused on hole 13. Drove wrong fairway. Leaves on greens a probl. Staff was great. Played two days in a row
Slow Play
Beautiful day for golf. Drove 5 hours to spend weekend in Branson. Noon tee time. Understanding it's a weekend, we were not surprised to find a line of golfers at the first tee. Did NOT know there was a tournament in process when checking in. Pace of play was terrible. Golfers in the tournament were playing a scramble, so it was slow. But when the groups make the green, one would think we were watching the Ryder Cup. Each player took 4-5 minutes to line up each putt. And no "gimmes" as ALL putts had to be made. Each missed putt required the other players in the group to try their luck making the putt. The first 9 took over 2 1/2 hours. Because of the layout of the course, #9 does not finish at the Clubhouse. Instead, you must play # 10 & 11 to make the turn. We approached # 12 and found FIVE groups on the tee box because the tournament groups decided to stop at the Bar & Grill to eat. Then were allowed to return to course at will, jumping in front of whatever group was in front of them because "We're with the tournament". From that point, each hole had at least 4 groups on it. Waiting 20+ minutes between each shot is a little much to handle. We finally decided to leave after hole #16 because the round had exceeded 5 1/2 hours and we still had two holes to go. We've played (and stayed) at Holiday Hills several times, but never had an experience like this one. We fully understand that weekend golf in a resort community will be slow, but there was no enforcement from the Pro Shop and no marshalls on the course to keep the pace of play reasonable. Very disappointed the course was overbooked due to a tournament, but other players should have been informed of the tournament. Six hours to play 18 holes is beyond reasonable. Unfortunately, we have decided to cross this course off of our list of courses to play when we return to Branson.
DISAPOINTMENT
THIS IS THE WORSE SHAPE I HAVE SEEN AT THIS COURSE!!!!!!!
Great course
Holiday Hills is a laid back and fun course to play. They are always giving some good deals, as none other in Branson seems to do.
This course is well laid out and challenging but forgiving if you hit a little bit.
We always play there when we come to Branson.
Nice course
Nice course. Scenic views. Course plays short for more experienced golfers more of a target course. Conditions were great except for some of the greens. Enjoyed the round.
Hilly and water on several holes
A lot of parallel fairways. No Marshall on the course. Very slow 4some in front of us,
A few really good holes, not enough to make up for slow play, and parallel holes combined with bad golfers,
is very unsafe. Several balls came across from adjacent fairway
Not Bad
Greens showing some stress on several holes, fairways and rough are in good shape, some cart paths are pretty rough!
Great value
Course was located conveniently to our condo and booking through golf now hot deals provided great value for this nicely laid out and very playable course
Holiday Hills.
This is a fun course to play
