good
Like playing this course, open and friendly to play. Not the best but for the price very very good!! thanks for letting me play!!
Holiday Hills
This is by far the least challenging and maintained course in Branson.course had arriated the greens and when we arrived at the course was informed that hole 10 was closed due to repairs. It was May 4th which is much later than I would expect course repairs to be completed. Staff was friendly but the golf was severely lacking in not only conditions but the test itself. I would recommend this course for beginning golfers.
A Very Busy Course
This course has a good variety of holes. The greens were very fast and the fairways are narrow. Their are some water hazards that come into play. Hole #10 was closed the day we played and hole #11 is pretty rough. Other than that, the condition of the course was quite good considering that it is in transition from the winter grass conditions on the fairways. The course is very busy. We teed off at 3 pm and whereas many courses are pretty empty at that time, this course was very busy. We would definitely recommend this course.
Play early
Will go back but not unless we can play early. Afternoon pace was non existent felt like I could take a nap at times.
Better courses around
I've played this course several times over the past few years and this is the worst shape I have ever seen it. The grass was brown and very patchy. There has been plenty of rain in the area but the grass looked like it was mid August and they forgot to pay the water bill. The greens were hard and we're like putting on concrete and I wouldn't be surprised if they painted them so make it appear as if their was color. Not to mention #10 is under construction so really your only playing 17 holes. Last but not least since I golfer during the Masters tournament naturally after golfing I wanted to see how it was going. The pro shop didn't even have it on the television in there, very strange considering the audience and who they try to attract. This course as light years of work ahead of it if they expect to have me back or give any ringing endorsements!
hole 10 under repair
Short but OK course for the money. Hole 10 closed with no upfront warning. Greens quick. Just not filled in yet from winter. Only one part 5.
Very good course
I like the layout. It is a challenging course but fair. The staff were very helpful. Unfortunately because it is spring time, the fairways were pretty wet. But I still enjoyed my round.
Great layout
Course has great features. Too much recent rain made the course soggy and on some holes unplayable. Cart patj only slowed play. Overall enjoyed the course.
The Course was in great shape considering it snowed 8 inches 5 days earlier.
This course offers good quality for the dollar. The course has some difficult holes that can challenge any level of golfer.
great course
If you are beginner to intermediate this course is challenging enough to have fun but not so hard you can't have fun. One of my favorites courses for sure.
Course in good shape considering it is winter
I have been playing this course in various forms and conditions for over 40 years. Considering the bermuda grass in dormant with no over seeding it is more playable now then any time in the past. The greens are receptive and putt true. It was an enjoyable round.
Great day of golfing
I have golfed this course many timesand enjoyed it every time I come to Branson.
Branson
The course had some challenging holes, but was very playable. At a par 68, it was a little shorter while was nice for my wife. I would play this course again.
average course at best
Course was in decent condit ion but layout was quite boring. Lot of up and down back and forth holes. Biggest issue was no yardage markers and no GPS in carts yet. Kind of a get what you pay for course.
Not Resort Quality
Lower municipal course quality at resort Prices.
Carts were "beat"
Great course for the money
This is a fun layout for the average golfer. Great water features and rolling fairways. I would recommend.
holiday hills
the course was in good shape. the rough was not very tall but the ball always settled down so the ball was hard to find. which slowed play down. a fairly short course at 5770 yards. the fairways run side by side so you can pull out your drive and just hit it with no worry about losing it or hitting it out of bounds. a good warm up for some of the harder courses in the area. great deal from golfnow at $25.00.
Enjoyable Round
Great value for the money we paid through GolfNow. Bunkers add to the challenge.
Disappointed
After reading reviews & info on this course we decided to give it a try and were disappointed from the moment we stepped in the pro shop. The person checking us in had an attitude problem and then we learned from the starter that we would be using a gas golf cart without the fancy new GPS system the course advertised. My wife and I got headaches from the smell, but decided to make the best of it. This course was sub-par and over priced compared to other courses in the area. We would not recommend this.
Good course for the price
My friend and I played on a damp Wednesday afternoon and the course was playable and very affordable. Would definitely play again.
