Oak Valley Golf Course & Resort

This course has a scorable front 9 with an unforgiving back 9. It’s come a long way as far as conditions; nothings immaculate however it’s still ideal for a scenic round. 7/10 overall

Nice course but the cart paths are horrible. We could use some rain but most of the greens were fine as were the fairways but a few were browning our in areas. We enjoyed the day

This course cost about $52, the fairways are hard, a lot of dirt patches all over, and cart path is terrible. Definitely other courses out there that are cheaper and better

Nice course for the price. A few fairways had some work being done., otherwise course was in decent shape. Greens were consistent , course plays fair . It is somewhat hilly, which I did not mind. Will definitely play there again and would recommend to anyone (especially for the GolfNow hot deal price).

Greens always in good shape. Get a great warm up with an open and forgiving front nine before proceeding to a more challenging back 9. Brand new golf carts, bathrooms and water coolers around the holes are perfectly spaced out. Pace of play has always been good. Cart paths are a bit bumpy in spots, whatever. Legit 5$ burger to get on the turn as well. Staff is always super friendly. All the negative reviews on here sound like people think they should be playing at some mystical grassland course for 45$

Very enjoyable, some of the greens needed some work but overall it was really nice! I will definitely be back!

Wanted to play this course for a while now and finally took the time for the almost one hour drive. I had heard good things but was disappointed with the course. The front nine is fairly open and manageable but the back nine is very narrow with sloping fairways and minimal forgiveness. Tee boxes were in nice shape. Greens were “furry”. Fairways were disappointing - given the amount of rain we’ve had in the area they were not in great shape. Sometimes it was hard to tell the difference between the fairway and the hard, rutted transition to the cart paths. The cart paths switched between exceptionally rough pavement and gravel.

There are plenty of other options in the St. Louis area that are better at a similar cost. If you live near Pevely then you have a decent course close by but not worth the drive if you live north of Arnold.

Positives: staff and fellow golfers were nice. Golf carts were in good condition and a course book was provided along with pin placement maps on the scorecard.

Course is in decent condition, some fairways need some work, but you can tell they're putting money into it, greens are in good shape. Really nice layout

Fairways need attending. Golfers need to repair divots.

Hadn't played this course in a while...heard and read a lot of poor comments/ratings. Course condition was ok, not as bad as expected. Some fairways need work. Pace was ok; but as I went from #8 to #9 there was an individual with his girlfriend and a buddy and one set of clubs between them on #1. He was literally teaching them how to play. Nimit cool on a Sunday. Should never be allowed.

Pace of play is terrible, they over book. Not worth the price. Conditions are more like a $36. Course

Front nine was in good enough shape. Back nine was abysmal. Greens full of sand and inconsistent. Won't be back this year.
