Course is in great condition and was a joy to play!

The Fairways and Greens are in good condition. Cart path was a little rough between holes. New Proshop looked nice! I had played this course in the past when it had different owners, new owners have made some good improvements!

The Course was in good shape. They have done a lot of improvements since the last time I played.

Extremely hot day and no beverage cart running the course. I asked why not and they told me there was not enough golfers to do it. Our 10:50 a.m. tee time saw foursomes start ahead of us as well as many behind us. The heat wave that was hitting should have warranted a beverage cart regardless of the number of golfers on the course. There is no where else on the course to buy more. It would have shown an appreciation for the golfers being out there on such a hot day and they would have made a little more money. When we did make the turn to replenish drinks there was a great selection of beers, but not much in the line of water and sports drinks. Food/snacks were nonexistent unless you wanted a bag of chips. Went to the bar to find out how long it took to cook a burger and was greeted by a bartender that asked me to "talk to him like a man". Needless to say we passed on the burger. Overall, course had some issues with erosion, some maintenance neglect and rough sand traps, but tee boxes and greens were in pretty good shape for the heat that has been around. Customer service would have made the difference that day and really is not that hard if you put a little effort into it.

Was skeptical about playing after reading some reviews. As of 6/12 I thought the tee box’s were in fine shape, fairways weren’t immaculate but still very playable, and greens were awesome. There is still some ground under repair but it is minimal. I will say I think $48 is steep for what you get. I’d say it’s a $28-30 course but that being said I would definitely return and play this course again.

My first time playing OV this year and was VERY disappointed in the condition of the course. Ground under repair for the removal of several traps on the back 9 has it looking really bad. Fairways are in terrible shape and tee boxes aren't much better. Greens are in decent shape. This course has slipped badly since being purchased from the Teamster's Union by a private entity.

Course has a lot of bare spots and at times you hit off dirt. Definitely not worth $45 a round

First off the round costs $40 during the week. This has been one of the worst condition courses I’ve ever played(no exaggeration). I play lots of rounds near the St. Louis area and beyond. The fairways were not mowed well and there were foot tall weeds everywhere in them. That alone just the overall stand of grass was very thin. Tees boxes were well dirt boxes for the most part with the exceptions of some weeds for ground cover. The greens were in okay shape but nothing to ride home about. Nevertheless don’t waste you time or money. There are plenty of well maintained courses nearby and for a lot less.

First time playing this course. Layout is okay. A lot of uphill fairways and fairways that runoff to the left or right. Fairways were in bad shape. Guy in pro shop said the used to be worse three years ago. Can’t imagine. Greens were in good shape. Not a place I would play more than a couple times a year. There are better courses for same price.

Tee boxes are in bad shape and most are not level. Greens were very inconsistent. Course really isn’t in great shape. Layout is very straight; not much strategic play required. Probably won’t be back.

Pace of play horrible. Multiple grips on each tee box. Fairways not much grass. Tee boxes need work. Greens best part of course.
