If I could give less than 1 star I would!
This was the most unorganized joke of a golf course I’ve ever been to. After taking my money they then told us we had to change shirts. After leaving to go buy new shirts we came back and rented one set of clubs. This gave us 2 sets of clubs for 3 golfers in 2 carts. When we got to the starter he told us we had to rent another set. So back to the pro shop we went to spend even more money. When we finally got to play I pulled out a club from the second set of clubs they made us rent and they freaking gave me a left handed set. they told us just to go ahead and play. I then got ticked and said “no you made me rent this set and I am going to play with them. Get me a right handed set!” so when we FINALLY got to play the grounds crew literally kept mowing with beside the crappiest greens while we were trying to putt. And to top it all off the freaking grounds crew ran over my ball in the fairway! When I got to it it was literally half a ball!! 😡 I will absolutely never recommend this to anyone at all…not even my worst enemy! For the money I spent I could have played at one of the amazing courses around like Top of the Rock instead of this freaking joke!
Terrible
When we got to the course we weren’t informed until after they made us pay that our outfits didn’t meet their dress code requirements. Also we were informed prior told that we only needed to have one set of clubs per cart then, shortly after we when down to play. And the starter told us that every golfer had to have a set of clubs. So the starter called the pro shop and the pro shop worker lied about what he told us to the starter. So after that we had to go up to the pro shop and rent another set of clubs. And that set of clubs we were given was a left handed set when we were told it was right handed. Not only that but when we started playing the ground crew were mowing the tee boxes as we were on them, and one of the golf balls we hit were ran over. And last but not least the greens conditions were terrible with sand patches everywhere and the aprons were patchy with divot holes.
An alright course. They had zero water in any of the jugs throughout the course. Most greens had some pretty rough areas. Pace of play was terrible. Gold isn’t cheap, but for the price it left much to b desired.
Great track
Course is fine with a good layout. A few of the greens were in rough shape but nothing too terrible. They could definitely use a Marshall to help with place of play because that was awful.
Beautiful views and great course for money around there
Had a discount tee time threw golf now was worth the money compared to courses around . Would recommend and play again when visiting
Good challenging course
Great challenging course. Course was in good shape, however some of the greens had some repairs happening to them. Overall a great value for the Hotdeal price we paid.
Plenty of challenges
In spite of heavy rains, the course was in good condition. The lay out is challenging with blocks for every level of golfer to play from. A downside was the slow pace of play. Given the location, course and cost I would recommend you play it.
Great course!
Course is in great shape. Fairways are nice. Rough as deep. And the greens roll very well. Playing it again tomorrow!
Good Medium Level Branson Course
Have played here many times. I’ve always enjoyed playing the course. It offers a variety of elevations and is well-maintained. The only drawback is the lack of a true driving range. Instead, there is a cage to the right of the first tee box, where you can buy range balls and hit into a net about 25 feet away..
Greens were rough
Greens had recently been punched, which I understand is necessary. However, there were multiple holes of which the greens had some bad conditions not including the punched greens. Bare spots on the greens. Sand spots on the greens. Greens overall could’ve been much better.
Overall, great course though. Staff was very friendly as well.
Challenging course
Fun but challenging. Not for beginners. Lots of over-water tee shots 👍
Even though!
The staff is always super friendly and helpful! Even though it has rained here everyday this week the course dries out pretty well it was cart path only but there was only water in the low areas and usually away from the fairway! This is our second time playing this course and it was just as good as the first. Lots of challenges for the price.
