Tough layout
Need to play a couple of times so you know where to hit your approach shot.
Fastest greens
The course was in top shape for have just rained the day before. Not sure I've ever played greens as smooth and fast as they have at the pointe.
Good Spot in Branson
Not the longest course you will play but makes up for it with strategic layout. Several blind shots and varying elevations to make you play for position and approach. Tee boxes and greens could use a little attention but it is winter and rained earlier in the week. Some tough pin placements with somewhat fast greens.
Nice track, but not in very good condition
Nice track, but green conditions were very sandy and fairways were not green. I guess due to the time of year. Fourth hole had a temporary green and was not putt-able at all.
The Pointe is a must play
This course was a great bargain for the Branson area. The staff was a ten very customer friendly. Had a great time on the course. Some holes were challenging an fun. I did a replay because we were having so much fun. Will play this course anytime I am in Branson.
Hills and woods
Challenging course topography. Great views. Firm and fast greens. Not cheap but a course in Branson not outrageously priced.
Solid challenging tight course
The course makes you play accurate off the tee with the tight fairways. Enjoyable course, only issues was large groups of 6 slowing play considerably and greens were rough at times, not sure anyone knew how to fix a divot. Overall good course just a few small things.
Greens were not in good shape. Very undulating and hilly course which proved to be challenging. Nice small waterfalls throughput the course.
Pointe Return Review
A few gimmicky holes, one temporary green and so many pitch marks on the green took away a good experience. The only reason pace of play was acceptable is the group ahead of us was waiting on one of their foursome. We finished 4 holes ahead of them.
