Huukan
Played this course quite a few times over the last few years. Course might be in a bit better shape than in the past but still leaves a lot to be desired. The price was right, hoewever.
Great Course for Price
Although a little out-of-the-way…it was worth the trip and we got around 18 in 3hr 50mins!
They accommodated our two threesomes without a blink of an eye.
Pro-Shop staff was all business…no good morning, welcome to Mojave…….just give me your credit card. Could be more amiable……not complaining just an observation
Great Value
For an average golfer this is a great course….for a novice golfer it is difficult.
Many sand traps and elevated greens and the last three holes are very challenging
Beautiful course
This course was so enjoyable. Beautiful views, well laid out and maintained, challenging and FUN. I booked a tee time not having any idea what it would be like and it did not disappoint. Plus I got a great price on GolfNow. We’ll be back!
Fairly decent
Played Huukan on a very windy day..20 to 30 mph. Overall the course is in pretty good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all nice and green. A few bare patches on the edges of the fairway..but few and far between. The rough is dormant Bermuda…but lots of gravel off the rough. If you keep it in the middle…no problem! This was a bit hard to do on a windy day. Staff are very friendly and outgoing. I had not played this course in since last spring..so was not sure of the conditions. I think it is a good value course for the money…on a hot deal, even better! I'll be back..but on a calmer day.
Nice course for all levels.
It was much nicer than I expected to find in the desert! Fairways and greens were well maintained. Some holes were pretty challenging (again, more water than I expected to find in the desert!) But seemed good for all levels. My husband had to rent clubs, though, and that was quite pricey....$45. I'm glad we played 18 so it was worth the rental price. Also, play pace seemed a bit fast....we finished 17 in 4 hours. The first 9 we played with 2 others and the back 9 by ourselves. It was not as rushed on the back 9 so was more enjoyable. Also, our cart died on the 17th hole....had to push it partly back to the club house. Looked like something out of the Flintstones! But overall, I would play it again. But rent elsewhere if we can.
Ray & Group
Outside of the final three holes the Ladies loved the course.
For us guys we were perplexed by the yardage.
Overall we loved it and had a great time!
Overall, a great course!
The only thing that was a bit of an issue, was the fairway grass was patchy. Nobody in our group cared if you moved the ball into grass. Very pretty course. Very busy too, so played a little slow, but great weather so nobody really cared.
Fun
This course is pretty easy, but for the price I think it was a good value. The staff was excellent. Nice friendly people. That is why I will platy this course again.
Fun course
Good for courses in this area. Couple tough holes. Undulating greens.
