About Avi Resort & Casino

The Avi Resort & Casino, located off the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, is nestled on the Nevada, Arizona and California border. Owned by the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, the Avi offers the Spirit Mountain Casino with slot machines, 18 table games, a poker room with Texas Hold’em daily, a Sport Book, live Bingo, Keno and more. Guests can stay at the hotel, where the rooms were renovated in 2018, or the Avi RV Park KOA, which allows free access to Avi Casino & Resort’s private beach on the Colorado River, outdoor pool, boat launch and fitness center. On-site KOA amenities include free Wi-Fi and cable, laundry, showers, picnic area with barbecue pits and a dog-run area. Other amenities include a massage room, boat rentals, an eight-theater movie complex, multiple restaurants and an arcade and Kids Quest daycare for children. Golfers can play the Mojave Resort Golf Club two miles away or the Huukan Golf Club about six miles away.

Golf and Enjoy

Greens are in good shape and rough/fairways are hard. It's best to dust your irons off . Cause you will need them

Honesty from a long time patron

The course is really good.. The anemities are gone, water bottles and GPS on cart. Both people signing for a cart rental is just stupid ! For the most, they are trying and the round is enjoyable.

Got a great hot deal on golf now. Course in decent winter shape. Greens rolled good at medium speed. Fairway lies were hit or miss. It was busy out there but it moved along. Fun layout in a nice setting but probably not worth the rack rate

Cool

The course was just fine. Fast Green's and tricky to read,rough and fairways played interesting. Some fairways were hard while others were soft so the rollout was much but that's golf. Was cool and windy so I'm sure the course played tougher on some holes.

Book a round and go and play.

You should enjoy it.

Cold but rewarding

In most cases the greens play great. Ball roll's true to your striking spot. Fairways play hard do to the dryness in them. Rough is dry also which makes for good flying surface.

Course condition

Typical condition for February. Not a 100 a round course. There were local rules we were not aware of and the staff was very quick to yell at you. Fun layout and we will play it again.

Weekend traffic jam

I remember now why I don't usually golf on weekends. Two groups of 5 ahead of us. No marshall. Didn't finish 18 even with a 12:30 tee off.
