About Avi Resort & Casino
The Avi Resort & Casino, located off the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, is nestled on the Nevada, Arizona and California border. Owned by the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, the Avi offers the Spirit Mountain Casino with slot machines, 18 table games, a poker room with Texas Hold’em daily, a Sport Book, live Bingo, Keno and more. Guests can stay at the hotel, where the rooms were renovated in 2018, or the Avi RV Park KOA, which allows free access to Avi Casino & Resort’s private beach on the Colorado River, outdoor pool, boat launch and fitness center. On-site KOA amenities include free Wi-Fi and cable, laundry, showers, picnic area with barbecue pits and a dog-run area. Other amenities include a massage room, boat rentals, an eight-theater movie complex, multiple restaurants and an arcade and Kids Quest daycare for children. Mojave GC
Pro shop was great. Was a single but starter put me in behind the locals . Gave up after 6 holes even playing two balls. Pace of play was normal for a local course use to catering for all the retired boys use to 5+ hour rounds.
Would have been more enjoyable if starter could have put me in with a deuce or another single. Course looks like it's been neglected since the same time last year. All about the $ I guess.
Nice golf course
We had a great time playing this course. Pace of play was great. Course conditions were great for this time of year. Staff were great. Will definitely play this course again
Perfect
Perfect day in Mohave Valley 70 degrees no wind true fast greens... HuuKan GC was born Desert Lakes way back when I played it last. It has changed some, but remains in decent condition.

It was green
The course was well maintained. And the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape.
This course is laid out well
Our round took 6 hours. We were backed up at least 2 groups at most holes. Ranger came by at the 2nd hole and told us that a tournament was ending and it should speed up.
It never did. Most courses would have rangers move slow groups along or have them leave. I have never played such a slow round. Nothing like a big audience at every tee box.
Just don’t
Staff is rude. Hotdog was cold. We left after 9 because it would have taken 6 hours to play. Just don’t play here. The lady in the restaurant was nice.
Great shape
The course is in great shape..over seeded tee boxes, fairways and greens. All in really good shape. Rough is dormant Bermuda which is yellow this time of year. I would not hesitate to play this again..and will in the coming months. Staff is friendly and courteous. The one thing I would like to see changed is to allow you to take your cart to the driving range. They do not hand out cart keys until your tee time..so you need to carry your clubs to the range to warm up. Minor thing..but have not seen this at any other course I have played.
