I was the last one out before they closed down for overseeding. Course is in rough shape. Some temp greens. Fairways are decent.. Nice course when the maintenance is done .

Rode the Whites (6178/70.6/125) in 4.5H early morning. Wind was in the 25mph range for 10 holes, then settled down into just breezy. 65 and partly cloudy. Matched up with Jim x 2, both pleasant guys to golf with.

Tees mostly good with only a few needing divot attention.

Fairways were lush and nice to play from.

Rough was lush around the greens. Rest was kinda rough, could be anything from lush to hardpan within a relatively small area.

Traps were poor. Thin with alot of rocks in them.

Greens were deceptively quick. Firm and a good looking dark green. Very nice.

Customer service excellent. Cart gal around numerous times. Well stocked pro shop. Gas powered carts were well below average. No GPS, but they provided a nice yardage book with your fee.

Front 9 was flatter and had more water. Back 9 many holes had elevation changes and was generally more interesting. Roughly a 700 yard difference in the White/Blue tees with no combo tees was a negative.

Layout was average, playing conditions well above average. If it cost $50 I would be recommending it. I realize it is high season here, however... at slightly more than double that for their early morning rate, this course did not come close to justifying that kind of fee on a Wed. morning.

The front 9 is completely different than the back!!

Front is swing away...pretty wide open, while the back is more hilly and tight!

What a great layout. Beautiful views from the plateau tee boxes. Had forgotten what a great course it is.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this course is. Most fairways are wide and easy to hit, however there are a few tricky ones and a few tough par 3's. I really love the landscape of the course and the scenic views while playing.

I do have an issue though, it is the bad bunkers. It is dirt, not sand. I brought this up to the people in the club house, and they agreed. They said because they have to water son much it gets compacted. That is not true, sand is different than dirt.

Overall I really liked playing here and cannot wait to come back.

We only played the back nine due to frost delays. That took almost 3 hours . There were no marshals . There is no decorum . People were playing in jeans ! The back nine was scenic and the course seemed to be in good shape . The greens were weird . We were told that they were a mixture of poanna and bermuda. It looked and felt that they were almost like artificial turf . There were no ball marks on them . Each hole was “ doubled decked ( two groups waiting on each tee before us! It was pure torture! Stay away unless that’s how you like to play !

Nice course, challenging but fair...you can generally see the trouble. Several interesting risk reward holes. Good value for the area.

My previous rounds of golf in Mesquite have been at the wild and wonderful Wolf Creek.

Imagine my surprise when we pulled into the parking lot at Casablanca. The layout is Wolf Creek's tamer alter ego. It's flat and playable with the traditional look of grass, ponds and bunkers. It's a breath of fresh air, frankly, from the rocks and intimidating looks of Wolf Creek.

I thoroughly enjoyed the round. The opening holes are easy but interesting enough. Then things get tough with longer holes and water. It's a nice flow.

Very nice golf course enjoyed playing We were joined with two other fellows fun guys to play with. The rough was tough to hit out of but that’s golf. Greens look like they had just been top dressed so were slow. Otherwise course good to play

Layout is good. Beautiful views. I know they are going to close for overseeding in a few days but so are all the other courses in Mesquite. Definitely the worst conditions in the area, we played every course this week. Please let us know the conditions are poor when we book. We are going to find out!! Would like to play again when conditions are good. Rates should reflect conditions!

Decent, done funny holes on the back nine but fun course to play.

I really enjoyed the weather and the course. I loved the magnificent desert views and the challenge of hitting over deep ravines. I would love to play here again.

Rushed from a morning course to play this course. The pro shop gentleman simply commented, “You guys are early,” and left it at that. We loaded our cart and headed to the first tee where the starter says, “Do you know what time it is?” We apologized thinking we were running late. He talked down to us and announced, “All tee times are Pacific Standard Time.” We were told that the twilight rate “does not guarantee 18 holes.” We were constantly waiting for the seniors on the course who were more intent on socializing on the course and very inconsiderate of others on the course that we finished 5 minutes after “the course closes” and it was getting dark. We were the very first twilight tee time so should have easily gotten 18 holes in. Round took 4 hours and 35 minutes. No marshall to move players along. Very disappointed!

First time I’ve played here since 2004 (moved to Atlanta). Course is in FANTASTIC shape since then. Greens well maintained, as is the rest of the course. You folks have done a TERRIFIC job bringing this facility back to what it should be! Thanks.

When on a mini-vacation and trying to decide on courses , I base a lot of decisions on what reviews I can find. I am sure glad I chose this course.

I don't see a whole lot of elevation change back home and this provided some great views and fun shots to try and accomplish. After a very good front nine, the back 9 was a joy to play. While the score was not very good, I would come back to this area in a heartbeat to play not just this course, but maybe try others in the area.

Very picturesque course. Was in good shape with some maintenance going on. Staff was "bend over backwards" friendly and accommodating. Hey and beer was a dollar! Can't beat that.
