Bad luck
Not sure what happened to this course, not the course I remembered. Stay away for awhile seems like there having some trouble with the fairway fungus. Entire course was saturated with so much water? Maybe drainage problems?
Great Condition
The course is in great shape. The greens were smooth and had good pace for summer play. The par 3’s are a beast from the black tees. Would highly recommend playing here. Great track!
Slow, very deep rough
Very slow. 6 cart backup on hole 2. Horribly slow from there. The rough is very deep. You must be very accurate or your in 6 inch rough that hides your ball. Nice course even if it is extremely laid out. You cannot walk it, especially in the heat.
The staff was great...super helpful. Practice area was good and well maintained. The practice putting green was a good reflection of the speed of the greens on the course, which, overall were a bit on the slow side. Possibly they are letting them grow a bit longer to help fight the Summer heat. But aside from that, they were possibly the best greens I have played this year. The course was in great condition. but the layout was unmemorable. Nonetheless, it was a good and fair challenge. The biggest challenge was the 3-4 club wind. Unlike the wide fairways of resort or 55+ courses, these fairways mostly required one to be accurate off the tee if you hope to hit a fairway. As a first time player, that was a bit challenging due to the numerous blind tee shots. So it was largely hit it and hope. Pace of play was 3 hours at 2pm on a Sunday.
Very enjoyable round of golf
Overall the course is in very good shape. Excellent fairways. Good greens. Roll true. Bunkers overall could use some additional work.
Great conditions! Very nice clubhouse.
Staff acted like they didn’t want you there.
I got there an hour and 15 minutes early hoping to use the driving range and putting green and they told me the driving range was 3/4 of a mile away and they couldn’t give me a cart this early to drive out there to use the range. For some ridiculous reason, they started us on hole 7 which is a par three. This is what they commonly do on this course. Teed off at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning and finished just before 4 o’clock. Never saw a Marshall even once. Was the slowest moving round of golf I’ve ever played that wasn’t an eight man scramble. The course had no flow and was ridiculous Starting on the seventh hole.
I’d still likely go back, but if the pace was anything like this again, and I’ve heard that it often is, that would be the last time. Literally every single tee we’d get there, and there was either one or two groups on the tee in front of us.
Beautiful Challenging & Fun
If you are visiting Las Vegas or a local, this is a wonderful Golf Course to enjoy. From the easy check-in and starter instructions, to the challenging but rewarding par three first hole, you get excited to play golf. A little over four hours as a threesome, the course was in great shape, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely put this on your list if you’re visiting the area.
First Time Playing
It was the first time that we played this course. We found it a little confusing because they started play on the 7th hole.
Slow
Poor pace of play. Waited on every hole. Group behind us hit onto the green when we were on it. Never saw a marshall to complain. Course is surrounded by houses so if you’re a long hitter who can get into trouble occasionally, you won’t have a good day.
Fun layout
Fun layout, course in great condition. Greens were still healing from being punched. The only negative is the bunkers because there is no sand, just hard gravel.
You Gotta Play Here
Gorgeous golf course. Well maintained course. Paired up with some singles from GolfNow - best group of randoms I've ever played with.
