18th Holes with Clubhouse, Crotched Mountain Photo submitted by GolfMentor on 07/14/2014
Superb Sunday
Always challenging hills, greens in great condition, good pace of play. My son and I enjoyed the course. And the horse/ deer flies took Sunday off.
Super Golf Day
Course in great shape, and the slopes, hills, and deer flies very challenging.
Signage
Like the course. Greens varied for speed. 1st time playing and there were no hole signs by the tee boxes. Had a watch and range finder which helped with yardage.
Good Course
Nice layout, challenging, need to put up some hole signs and directional signs. No water on course or cart attendant for beverages.
Tavern is nice however the bar is closed until dinner so must purchase drinks in pro shop.
Mountain course
This is a great resource! Pace of play is good, challenging course with trees, wet areas, wooded areas etc.
friendly staff, course is in good shape. Greens are filled in and play nicely
not worh the money
well, the golf course hasn't been updated in any way but the prices have gone up substantially.
Not a drop of water in the water coolers on a 90 degrees weather day!
Great Day for Golf!
Soggy course after rains, but still a challenge. Course kept in great condition, and as always fun.
Super Tight
I play Cyprian Keyes on a regular basis, but Crotched Mountain is the tightest course I have ever played. The fairways are not wide, and there isn't much rough before you have trees on the left and right. the course isn't long, but you have to hit it really straight. The greens were super fast, and if you were above the holes, you'll be hard pressed to keep your ball on the green. I found it very difficult, and thought it was really off the beaten path. It was a 70+ mile drive for me, and it took an hour and a half. I don't think I will be back any time soon. Just too long a drive, and the course was not as playable as I would like.
Nice mountain course
This is one of the better mountain courses that I’ve played for the value. $50 w cart GN Hot Deal. I plan to go back this fall.
Worst course for the price
Horrible conditions to be charging what they do. Bunkers are like concrete with rocks the size of your ball. Pro shop staff are very friendly, however the owner is a jerk.
Great Hidden Gem
Course was in really good shape. The only minor complaint is there was a lot of standing water from either watering or rain the day before. Great scenery in the pace of play was fantastic.
