Crotched Mountain Golf Club
About
Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross design set against a beautiful New England backdrop in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. The course is situated at the base of a mountain, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Monadnock region. This peacefully secluded spot is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are changing. The golf course has many unique holes that will test your skill with a variety of different shots. Mature trees line the narrow fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers flanking the greens. You will also come across the occasional water hazard. There are some challenging holes but Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a fair and playable round that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The practice facility at Crotched Mountain includes a driving range and two different putting greens, including one with a sand bunker for chipping practice.

18th Holes with Clubhouse, Crotched Mountain Photo submitted by GolfMentor on 07/14/2014
Super Tight
I play Cyprian Keyes on a regular basis, but Crotched Mountain is the tightest course I have ever played. The fairways are not wide, and there isn't much rough before you have trees on the left and right. the course isn't long, but you have to hit it really straight. The greens were super fast, and if you were above the holes, you'll be hard pressed to keep your ball on the green. I found it very difficult, and thought it was really off the beaten path. It was a 70+ mile drive for me, and it took an hour and a half. I don't think I will be back any time soon. Just too long a drive, and the course was not as playable as I would like.
Nice mountain course
This is one of the better mountain courses that I’ve played for the value. $50 w cart GN Hot Deal. I plan to go back this fall.
Worst course for the price
Horrible conditions to be charging what they do. Bunkers are like concrete with rocks the size of your ball. Pro shop staff are very friendly, however the owner is a jerk.
Great Hidden Gem
Course was in really good shape. The only minor complaint is there was a lot of standing water from either watering or rain the day before. Great scenery in the pace of play was fantastic.
Spring Surprise
Course opened shortly after snow delay. Staff hard at work grooming course. Always friendly, staff, challenging course. Always fun to play here except- beware Golf Now Users: " Hot Deal" members will apparently be required to double up, and wait, for other Hot Deal players. The justification given was the "...high price of gas..." And, of course when gas trends down the course will allow regulars, even us lowly Golf Now/ Hot Deal users to benefit. Sure.
Course has great design but very very unforgiving
Challenging for an average golfer, tons of blind shots, lots of lost balls that were hit into fairway then gone..
First day out
This is a great course.. it was dryer than I thought it would be this time of yr.. its really very well taken care of.. this time of year it can be ugly but nothing great weather wont help with ! One of my favorite
Manager is a goof
10 am tee time I got there at 9:20. No one on the course except a single w 9:30 tee. Asked Manager if I could join him early and he agreed. He charged me an extra $20 for using a cart by myself stating that gas prices have gone up!! Meanwhile the player that I was paired with used a cart all by himself??
Ivan see why the place was dead!!! This manager just lost a customer!! What a goof
BTW the 10 o’clock group were all using single carts!!!
Still Fun!
Great golf, despite gloomy weather. Holes challenging, well- maintained even late in year, crews out there working. Always fun to be on this course.
