Rude
Incredibly rude staff and starters. Course is that not prestigious to be treating paying customers as so. Put me in a bad mood to start the round and conditions of course did not make it better. Used to love this place, idk what happened.
Poor conditions
Disappointed in the condition of course. Goose poop on green. Fairways poor condition, weed grass and bare, burnt out areas. There was no sand/divot mix in golf cart. Lucky we paid about $60 on hot deal with discount but even at that rate I won’t be back this season with poor condition.
Not worth the price
The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The course was in poor shape, dug up tee boxes, divots and bumps all over the greens. Would have been ok for a Muni course but at this price, it should have been in much better condition.
Completely agree. We played on 7/20/24 and was very disappointed.
Great Course
Great course layout for average golfers, friendly staff, in great condition just need on course food or snacks on beverage cart or at turn.
Hot and dry
Course looked like it needed a lot of care. Other than the fairways and greens the course was toasted. On the turn they need more options for food. Maybe they want you to go to the venue to grab a bite or more dark glad but after a long round we didn’t want to leave the course for the 19th hole. Now this past week was very hot and dry and this time of year it’s hard to keep the course green. I get it and understand maybe why. I also booked through golf now and pause 125$ round which seems a bit high for amenities and course condition. I would recommend if cheaper per round
Nice course
The course is overall very nice. Fairways and greens were very nice. Rough, bunkers and landscape were pretty average and lacked maintenance. It was very busy on a holiday weekend so it was slow. I think they should have pushed the foursome in front of us along. We ended up having a 5 hour round. The course us nice just nothing particularly special.
Nice Round
Pace of play was great and conditions were excellent, did get a bit wet on one hole as mtce person turned sprinklers on before we finished hole. But I guess that is price to pay to keep fairways green. Favorite course in the area, like openness of course.
Checked off the List
As I write this review I'm waiting on a refund from a double charge. I could write a book of how my interactions went at vineyard national. I'll save you and just write a course review problems and staff excluded. Above average on all landscape maintenance. Very well maintained. Rough is very short easily find your balls if your not in fairway. Greens are private clubs standards. Might be the most challenging greens I ever played in 300+ rounds. Course is very short blue didn't seem to give me a challenge like my white tee in Pa. It all comes down to putting on these well rolled greens to score low
Fun course
Have played there many times, but they need to install a hitting range for warm ups . Gotta keep after fairways need a better irrigation system so they don’t dry out .
Always enjoy this course
Set off in a vineyard area, very peaceful
Nice variations between holes
Played in 30 mph wind gusts
Course is starting to develop brown spots
Not what it once was
Vineyard National has changed hands. It was once a beautiful course, well kept. I actually played it the first week it opened. Now, fairways and greens are in decent shape but bunkers and “rough” not so great. What was once a beautiful golf course, not so much anymore and pricey too even with a hot deal. It seems more is being put into banquet and restaurant facilities than the golf course. Too bad…and sad to see.
We played in the 20th and condition were definitely not excellent Goose poop on greens. Fairways were burnt out and bare in a lot of areas. Very disappointed in course condition compared to last season
