Vineyard National Golf Course
The 18-hole, public The Vineyards is situated in the South Jersey Pinelands with beautiful views of orchards and vineyards. The same meticulous care that goes into Renault's award-winning restaurant and winery went into the championship golf course that spans over 7,000 yards.
The designer kept frequent golfers in mind when creating the layout for the course but it won't overwhelm golfers with higher handicaps. There are strategic elements that offer the opportunity for risk and reward. The 1st hole is the signature hole offering a beautiful view of the vineyards. The Vineyards has a yardage of 7,213 playing to a par of 72.

Room for Improvement
Course was suffering from drought conditions with dried out fairways & crabgrass infestation in rough. Management has spent a considerable amount of money upgrading the overall venue (banquet facilities, restaurant) in the past few years to the detriment of course investment. There seemed to be an emphasis placed on pace of play, with a pre-starter, starter, and ranger all reminding us to keep pace with group ahead. Suggest saving money on some staff salaries and divert it to course maintenance. That being said, course layout keeps one's interest with several standout holes.
First time playing there
It was a hot and sunny day at the top of the hill with light wind conditions. It doesn’t feel like it was 90F with high humidity. Incredible golf club and will definitely return. It is a little pricey but still worst it to play with good friends.
I played this course a little over one year ago and have raved to people about the amazing job the new owners had done on a course that had been completely run down. My takeaway was very different this time. The good news.... the greens were very, very good. Rolled nicely, excellent speed. Really will enjoy the greens.
However, the journey to the greens is made up of a lot of burned-out areas of fairways. I understand it's been hot, but if they are watering at all, too many areas are simply not touched. What was most surprising was the amount of crab grass in the rough, surrounding the greens and t-boxes. Seems like it has gotten completely away from them.
Staff is always great. Really appreciate everyone and the restaurant amenities are exceptional. I was hoping the golf course would be the centerpiece but that does not seem to be the case.
Very diverse holes… lots of sand and some water. Greens, fairways and tees in great shape… the rough was “hit or miss”; some dried out, some plush and sticky.
There’s definitely trouble in spots but forgiving enough if you kiss in the right spots.
Will definitely play here again.
It was a VERY HOT day 95' Only complaint was not enough water stations to wet towels. Other than that, great course!
Good course / Good value
Course is in good shape. Tees, bunkers, greens and fairways are manicured well. Played 18 holes in 3:30. Started at 3:00. No driving range. Good value at $50.
Fairways and greens in good shape
Fairways and greens were in good shape but tee boxes were not. Have to go to other property down road to get food.
Not worth the greens fee..my local muni is in as good a shape..disappointing as I had heard the new ownership was upgrading the condition of the course..always enjoyed the layout but not worth the money now..
Great course, great bar/restaurant. I want to come back play, stay at the hotel, and play the next day.
