Father/son golf outing
Course was in good shape . Front nine pace was calm and relaxing. Back nine started with a foursome that somehow jumped in front of us. Would have been ok if the foursome had four that played good. My son and I aren’t great but if you jump in at least have the decency to be able to play with pace.
First play there this year
The course is I’m good condition and the greens were fast. Great course, mostly wide open and greens were excellent.
Fun course
Had a real nice round of golf. The course is out of the way a bit, but worth the drive. Full restaurant and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our round.
Unbearably slow
The course is in decent shape but the pace of play was ridiculously slow. How can it possibly take close to 6 hours to play a course where you can't even lose,a ball. ? Then all the sudden at 16 the pace picked up..Obviously the rangers couldn't speed up slow groups
Okay for the money
Considering the cost of green fees at the Jersey shore, it’s okay for what you pay.
Fast Greens
The course played great! The greens on the back 9 played much faster then the front, but even those were very quick.
Renault disappoints
This course has a nice layout but the conditions are deplorable. The fairways are bare, the rough is mostly dirt, and the greens are bumpy and inconsistent. I was very disappointed and embarrassed to bring a guest to play. Renault is investing into the wedding venue and not the course. The green fees are twice what should be charged. The owners should be ashamed.
A little below standard
12 of 14 Fairways are very patchey and not grown in. Course has not recovered from last year’s irrigation problems.
Greens roll true and smooth - but not lighting fast.
Hopefully all will improve in coming months.
Priced a little high for the current conditions.
Really Solid Course
This was a fun course. I played on Mothers Day so I’m not sure if that was the reason but the pace of play was awesome, I could take my time. The course had an awesome open layout, some of the tee boxes were chewed up but other than that it was perfect.
I haven’t experienced this but friends who play this course often said avoid or be prepared for super hot, sunny days because there is not too much shade around.
