Nice course!
Sand traps and sod are being installed! By Spring the course should be a 5 star rating. Green needs to be rolled but overall great course and atmosphere!
Above average all things considered
Look if you’re expecting private course conditioning, look elsewhere. But for a course with a maintenance budget of essentially zero, the place is fantastic. Really fun layout. Greens roll great. Pace of play can be an issue but still worth playing.
Better and better
The more I play this course the more I like it. Wide open, yet challenging. Some interesting holes, especially the par threes.
Conditions Improving
This course has always had some issues, mostly maintenance, new owners, so let's see what is planned, saw some bunker work going on, good, what else will be done? next spring will be the proof, let's hope the improvements will be worth what will be charged, because we all know when money is spent on conditions, the costs get passed down, will be back to see.
Nice course manageable layout Nice green even sand traps wasn’t in bad shape It’s an hour ride from the oval to Bridge from Philly it while worth it
Lovely course
I like this course. It’s quite challenging. Today was a bit too windy and cold for my liking. But can’t help that. I will say I hated the live band they had going on. They were TERRIBLE! it made it tough to play the wholes around the club. It was so loud. The course is in great condition and the par 3s are my favorite. The greens are fast too which makes it fun.
Good time
Overall happy with conditions, pace, and price. Good day.
Worth the money!!
I’ve been playing this course all season. But I’d have to say right now, the fairways and greens are in the best shape I’ve seen them all year. The box is that of already been redone are wonderful to play out of, and I’m sure when all the monkeys are done for next season because will be complete.
Enjoyable, definitely worth the money
Enjoyable, definitely worth the money . The fairways are in great shape, the greens are rolling true. A little Slower than I like, what a pleasant experience
Nice layout but needs a lot of work on sandtraps
Played the Vineyards a few times before and always have the same complaint The Sand Traps. Some have absolutely no sand, they’ve been working on them for over a year now with very little progress. Other than that it’s a very nice layout in very good shape.
Course was in great condition and greens were fast and rolled true.
Improvements ongoing
Have played this course dozens of times over the years fantastic hole designs even if it is a bit wide open. Very playable from all tee boxes for all level of golfers. Previous owners lost alot of money building adjacent hotel in middle of NJ woods not near enough to Atlantic City nightlife. Course conditions deteriorated so bad it was almost unplayable with weeds beat up tee boxes and hundreds of sand traps that looked like an abandoned sand quarry. New owners have built fabulous wine bar wedding facility right next to course and the course conditions are back.Tees and fairways all in good condition, greens rolled smoothly and they are working diligently on restoring the many sand bunkers to make the course a top notch golf alternative near Jersey shore. Keep up good work!
Thumbs up!
Have played here a couple times and it’s always in above average shape, at least when I’m here.
6300+ yards from white tees. Fairly open. Bunkers were 60-40 to the good. We’re working on a few of them on the finishing holes. Nice mix of long and short holes. A couple elevated greens and other raised tee boxes helps you forget your in a generally flat part of New Jersey. Par 3 13th for example was 180 from an elevated tee, pond and long bunker on your right. Green is 30 feet below tee box. Great hole! All the par 5s played over 500 yards. Tee boxes and greens were great. Greens showed signs of aeration, but had no effect on putting and we’re running quick. I’m not sure what the regular rate here is, but I loved the deal I got and hope to catch another one just like today, next year!
