Bunkers need a major overhaul
Course was and always is nice, however they really need to do something about the bunkers. Some were beautiful and others were overgrown and rocky. I believe they are in the process of fixing the course up after new owners took over so maybe it’s a work in progress after COVID.
Getting better
Greens in good shape, little slow, easy to read. Fairways little burnt out. Played as a twosome at foursome pace. No geese! Fun day.
Nice course for the money
Nice course. Good value! Enjoyed the layout. Will definitely be back.
Staff Great
Course was still pretty wet from rain the evening before, some
Spots in fairways hadn’t drained completely. Sand seemed pretty scarce in bunkers I found myself in. Thin patches throughout the rough - more like hard pan. Starter and staff members were very friendly and helpful! Enjoyable round but I do think it’s a little expensive for course conditions. Wouldn’t play again on a weekend, paying over $100 per person.
A little disappointing
First, I like playing Renault. A few sand traps were improved which was long over due and appreciated. However, as the daily rate has increased substantially, the maintenance appears to have slipped. Many fairways had lots of fungus, 50-70% of the sand traps are still loaded with stones/rocks and not much sand. If you’re going charge like an “A” listed course, the conditions should reflect the costs. I have confidence the newer owners will continue to make the necessary improvements and will look forward playing here again to see if I am right. Good luck!
Good value
Good value. Bunkers are getting better.Drainage warrants more consideration. Course is moving in the right direction.
Beautiful day at the Vinyard
The weather was great, had early tee time, finished round in just over three hours. Greens were in great condition. Just a great day of golf and friends.
Very Nice
Course was basically in fantastic condition. Greens rolled true, not too fast, not too slow. Fairways were in really good condition. My only issue were the bunkers. Seems like they’re in the process of refilling them. Some were too fluffy, some with no sand and a lot of rocks. No happy medium. Once they complete their bunker project the course will be fantastic.
Fun Day
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true and were in fantastic condition. Fairways plush. Only complaint was the whiny, no personality complainer in the bag drop area. Once we got away from him we thoroughly enjoyed our round. Also a bit expensive for a weekday round.
First time
Father’s Day gift from my wife. Overall great layout, challenging and get to use all the clubs in your bag. Pin placements were tough today, always near a steep drop off on the greens but it kept it interesting. I didn’t give amenities a ding as there really aren’t any due to the covid restrictions. I know there are limitations to up keeping the sand traps but way to many large rocks that should not be in there when paying $100/round. Other than that the rest of the course was in really good shape so happy and would play again.
Nice course but some bunker issues
I like the course and other than a few awkward free to tee transitions, it is a nice "modern links". They appear to be in a bunker renovation as some were is good shape, and some were borderline playable.
Wine & golf!!
Greater bag check stFf member and cant wait until
Covid is gone to come back for golf AND food and wine !
Thank you
course was in great shape they are working hard at getting the sand traps redone. Looks like there going to be great
