Seaview, A Dolce Hotel

Awful experience! If you played this course previously, be warned, this is not the same course that the LPGA played a little over a month ago. NOT EVEN CLOSE!

I played this course, countless times prior to Troon ownership and it was fantastic. It’s so sad to see what this golf course looks like now.

I played yesterday and it was the worst conditions I have ever seen. Not only for this course, but for any resort course I have ever played.

There were burned out tee boxes with no grass, just dirt.

The greens were so wet that the mere act of walking caused 1/4” deep footprints.

You could see the mower marks on the greens.

The greens were super slow, my best guess would be about an 8 on a stimpmeter.

The fairways were super wet, there was standing water in numerous locations.

The bunkers were unraked, with footprints everywhere.

Save your money and don’t play here!

I tried to cancel two slots 3 days in advance and the number you gave me was out of service and the golf course was unwilling to cancel the two slots so I paid for 4 slots ahead of time, but only used two slots. I should be given a credit for 2 slots. Also, the course was in terrible shape.

Atrocious pace of play - no ranger - no controls. No refreshments other than beverage cart, which goes in at 430. Expect more for the price. Course is good; greens slow. Not one bunker was raked - footprints everywhere and I mean BIG footprints everywhere. Should be taken care of better than it is.

I have been going to Seaview for over two decades. This is by far the worst condition I have ever seen the greens. They were furry and plush and did not roll evenly. We were very disappointed.
