Seaview - The Bay Course
About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Golfer Reviews
Seaview Bay Course
Course was in excellent condition, we were lucky to have the perfect conditions, Layout was challenging, nice views of the Bay.
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was very slow and no rangers to move things along.
Beautiful Golf Course
Seaview Bay Course is a pristine golf course with great water.views, including the A.C. skyline.
Bring your bug spray though, to ward off those pesky flies, especially on holes.near the.reeds/water, and use it generously, especially if there is no breeze.
Over 5 hour round
It rained the night before. It was cart psth only but the fairways were bone dry. Rough was 6" high. No ranger, couldn't find your ball grass was so high. No excuse for not cutting the rough, ground was dry. After calking the pro shop a guy finally came out and said it was no longer cart paths only. Cart path pot holes, green heads wete biting, overall a bad experience.
Always a great golf experience
With the exception of the greens being bumpy & slow, the course was in great summer condition. Always a great golf experience with an exceptional staff.
Awesome
I’ve played the Bay course a number of times and it never disappoints. Great condition, views of AC and overall quality.
Bay
Place is great!!!tough course and people who work there treat you like loyalty. Had a great day!!!!
challenging course
Course is in excellent condition with some holes that are not visible to you. Like most courses playability improves after having played it in a few times. Overall enjoyable.
Seaview - Bay Course
We played the Bayside at Seaview, which was nothing short of amazing. The staff is great. They were able to accommodate us by allowing an extra player to complete our group and the course was in great shape. First two holes started slow, but we were able to finish 18 holes right around four hours.
Disappointed
Have played here on and off 20years and honestly probably won’t play again
For the price overrated and parts of course not in good shape
On top of that there was a 5some and a 6semon course
And of course there are the killer green
heads Very annoying
Recommended but…
Bay View is a decent course. I’ve played all the public courses surrounding the AC area. Bay is the most expensive but unfortunately, the $$$ doesn’t reflect the quality of the course when comparing to others in the area. Tees were beaten up. Sand traps had not been manicured or raked for weeks. Greens were in good shape but extremely slow. Staff was attentive and did a good job.
In my opinion, Pines is a significantly better course, especially when comparing the money.
I’d played the course a number of years ago. I hoped they had upgraded after a number of years with the LPGA stop coming through. They haven’t.
Eaten Alive!
The staff at the bag drop never mentioned it, the staff at the proshop never mentioned it and the starter never mentioned it. What is the it, Swarms of the most voracious man eating flies you've ever encountered. From our first tee balls, to our last putts we were accosted by these flies. The back of my calves were dripping with blood by the end of the round. We finished in 4 hours flat, great pace of play for a threesome largely due to the constant fear of your next excruciatingly painful bite. The other slap in the face is that they have the audacity to charge $178 to play this breeding ground. The greens were in fine shape if a bit shaggy, playing conditions were fine except for the traps, many of which looked like they hadn't been raked in weeks. Every person who reads this would be out of their minds to play this course in the summertime. I was told by a regular that this is typical and that the LPGA event held here each spring is just as bad but with gnats. Go elsewhere, I wouldn't play here again if it were offered to me for free.
Seaview
Course layout is just ok. Every hole is pretty much straight with lots of tall grass or ob on most holes which is fine. But for 185$ I shouldn’t deal with super rocky bunkers with grass growing out, burned out or missing grass all over the course, dirt/ diseased areas of the fairway. Just isn’t worth 185$ at all. Also being on the “bay” you’re constantly battling green head flies with very little water views .
Friendly but in need
I played this course quite a bit each year. I would say I am partial to it because of the proximity and the personalities of the staff at the course who are all very friendly?
It’s a nice track, but it could use some work, especially in the traps which are atrocious
Great scenic track i need of a little TLC
I play this course every summer. Usually play both the Pines and the bay course at least seven times..
I am familiar with the course. I’m comfortable with it and I understand it.. perhaps I’m too forgiving, but a good friend who is a good golfer played with me and said you know if they’d put some work into the traps and the fairways this could be quite a great course. Reflecting on that I had to agree.. I still love the course. The people are fantastic, but it could be considerably better with some work and investment.
Seaview bay
the course was in excellent shape the best I have seen in the 20 or so times I played it. Staff was amazing as usual. It is why the professionals play here. thank you Seaview
Amazing conditions
Best greens you will putt on. Still in great shape after LPGA tournament. Enjoy and look for the hot deals .
