Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

An osprey on the course Photo submitted by Joefie on 02/15/2013
The course was cart path only and pace of play was very good.
Great Greens, Everything else is Good
Greens are some of the best I’ve played. Very true and straight, well maintained, little to no defects. Impressive. The rest of the course is just good, not great. Fairways good, rough is good, but there are definitely some areas right off the greens and fairways that are unplayable rough patches I did not expect in a $150+ tee time. Expected more in upkeep, but when greens are that good, it’s hard to complain.
Sand traps are either fluffy or a lot no sand at all
Greens were great shape
Played with 3 others, same age range. Played the white/gold combo.. Still some pretty long par 4s 380-410 yards. The average or shorter par 4s were narrow with a lot of bunkers.
5 par 3s averaging 160 yards.
Overall course in good condition, a few brown or bare spots In some fairways. Some thick rough. Bunkers need some work, not soft white sand but almost like gravel with lots of stones in them.
Slow play due to one foursome a few holes ahead of us. Felt sorry for the twosome in front of us because eventually they quit after 4 hours and just finishing #14.
We caught the foursome on 16 and waited on every shot the rest of the way.
Always a good day at the Pines
We had a beautiful summer day; conditions were excellent. The golf course was in great shape. No waiting or feeling pushed.
Shore Golf
Wonderful resort with excellent golf courses in great condition. Golf has gotten so expensive or I would play more often. But, hasn’t everything gotten more expensive? This keeps me for giving a five star rating.
No rangers
Good golf course. The
Starter said that we should finish in 4 hours and 10 minutes. It took almost 5 hours due to slow play by the group on front of us. We never saw the ranger the whole time we were out there. Same thing happened the last two times I played there
Great day
This is one of the premier layouts in south jersey, course is in great shape and it is a very enjoyable round.
Great Weekday Hot Deal
All staff were friendly and accommodating.
The carts were clean and very peppy.
Greens were slower than usual, due to heat they seem to be left on the longer side. Enjoyable day finishing in 3 1/2 hours. Will be back
Almost perfect
Great 3 hour round. Staff was friendly and attentive. The tees, fairways and greens are in excellent condition. But the traps. Horrendous.
Very little sand in them. The ground under the little bit of sand was hard ground. It was very hard to judge what the ball would do. Weeds were in most of the traps too.
