Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
About Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, was founded in 1914 as an exclusive country club. It has a long history of hosting professional golfers, presidents, rock stars and celebrities. In 1942, Sam Snead won the PGA Championship on a combination of holes of what is now Seaview's Pines and Bay courses. The Bay course, a regular host of the LPGA Tour, delivers the views beyond Reeds Bay to the Atlantic City Skyline. The hotel includes 34,500 square feet of meeting and event space, indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurants and a fitness center. The historic charm of the interior feels like a trip back in time.Facts

GREAT COURSE…. GREAT PRICE THROUGH GOLFNOW APP
Took my father here for his 75th birthday. First time using the GolfNow app, so wasn’t sure if the discounted price they quoted would be honored. Everything went smoothly at check in, so definitely will be using the GolfNow app moving forward.
Pines at seaview
Beautiful pines course! Long and somewhat difficult.. but lovely.. play it every time I get a chance!
CUT THE ROUGH!
Maybe they are getting ready for the upcoming LPGA event, but the rough here made for a miserable round. The rest of the course is in great shape but the grass in the rough was so high that we lost multiple balls that were just off the fairway. Spent a good portion of our round just walking in circles trying to find balls in the rough or around the bunkers.
Great coarse, enjoy the coarse everytime we play there
Stay away! Horrible conditions for 120$ pp
The condition of the course left much to be desired considering the amount of money they charge per person to play here. when I came in to the pro shop after the round, I asked to speak to a manager, and only spoke with someone behind the counter, who was of zero assistance. I will Never come back here again. All 3 of us have the same opinion. The greens, the fairways and the rough were all in horrible condition.
Wasn’t aware of the history on the Pines course
16th hole 209 yards from the whites par 3. Sam Sneed won his first Major here in 1942. Cool! The greens were still a bit bumpy. Heavy rain and wind made cart path only. 2 guys blowing off greens. I saw a couple more pumping water out of bunkers. We had ALOT of rain.
Fun track. 6200+ from the whites. 5 par 3s with back to back on the back. Odd. A little more then what I pay to play, but it was worth it to get a new logo ball. Plus, I shot 44-43 with an 18 hdcp. Someday I’ll play across the street.
Pines course
Only issue was the greens were still very bumpy from aeration that happened some time ago. Not much can be done about that though. Still early growing season. I would play again
golfin in da pines
always great to play sea view.. my only complaint was greens still bumpy. everything else in excellent condition!!
The two groups in front of us were slow. Considering the expected rain, they should have moved faster. For us, it rained at the beginning of the 17th hole.

Awesome facility! Greens are in top notch condition. The staff are all great! Can’t wait until we come back again to play!
