The MCM Elegante Lodge and Resort in Ruidoso is adjacent to the Links at Sierra Blanca and the one million acres of the Lincoln National Forest. With 64 suites and 54 rooms spread across three floors, the 75,000-square-foot hotel offers free hot breakfast, private balconies, in-room fireplaces, full kitchens or kitchenettes, two-person whirlpool tubs, Bath & Body amenities, a saltwater indoor swimming pool, open air patios and outside guest grills and a firepit. The adjacent White Mountain Recreation Complex sports two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, four basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, a 2.9-mile track for walking, running or cycling and multipurpose fields for baseball, flag football and soccer. There is a large divided, fenced dog park for large and small dogs.Facts

Beautiful course
This course was in very good shape and beautiful. I gave a low mark for pace of play because they allowed a very slow group of five. That's just never a good idea and they should change that rule.

Just Ok!
Carts are run down, range balls where the same. Pace of play was awful, Marshall couldn't keep people moving along.
The overall place looks worn out, needs TLC in every aspect of the business, for the price wasn't my best choice ever.

Ruidoso Keeper!
We have lived here in Ruido NM for several summers, coming from TX. The links course has always been my go to course! It's always been well maintained and a good test. Greens are rather quick but roll true. Fairways are generally full to lush, Bunkers somewhat thin, but always playable. This course is generally on par with nice private clubs. And by the way, the practice areas are world class. If you are going to play golf in Ruidoso ... play this one!

Great value
Course was in great shape--greens were excellent the first time we played. The second time they were very marked up with divots and spike marks (they had a tournament in the morning)--don't understand why people can't fix their divot marks. Pace of play was definitely an issue. Got behind a threesome that took almost 25 minutes to play 2 holes--so we played the front 9 a second time. Other than those minor issues, we were very pleased with the course!! Fun time.

This is a fun and challenging course.
I enjoyed my round at the Links emminsely. The course is in great shape and is fun to play. The mounds in the rough make this a course that you should try to hit it straight and not go for distance although there are a few where you can let the hammer down. I recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a cool mountain course to get out of the heat.

Great Course
I only get to visit Ruidoso a couple of times a year and I always play the Links. The course was in fantastic shape. It rained a little and we had thunder and lightning around for awhile but it ended up being real nice. Pace is always great and the greens are fast and true. The staff is always wonderful.

Nice course but slow play
Very nice course. Friendly staff, great layout, and course was in excellent condition. Only problem was slow play on the back nine. Total time was just over 5 hours.

Always fun to play
We had a group of 6 players for this round and everyone had a great time and enjoyed playing the course. The course was fairly full and there were a few waits on tees but overall pace of play was good. The course is in really good condition. Most of us took advantage of the opportunity to double our money in the pro shop on number 11. As always, we look forward to our next round at Links at Sierra Blanca

Good day at a good course
Our foursome consisted of golfers with various abilities from very good to very mediocre. Course conditions were good and the pace of play was excellent. We played mid day and the weather was just about perfect.
We all enjoyed ourselves and didn't leave too many lost balls.

Great course to play
Passing through from San Antonio and was told this was a good course to play. Met a local resident I know and we were able to get out about 25 minutes earlier than scheduled. From the beginning and all the way around the greens and fairways were in very good shape. The staff was friendly especially the two girls in the snack bar. Highly recommend playing this track if in town
