About The Lodge Resort & Spa
The Lodge Resort & Spa is a historic property in Cloudcroft, N.M. Located at 9,000 feet above sea level, its nine-hole course is the highest elevation for a golf course in North America. The current 59-room structure dates to 1911 after the first building burnt down. Rebecca’s serves three meals a day, and a spa will helps guests unwind. Local activities abound, including hiking, shopping, skiing, mountain biking and more.Facts

Great day at the Lodge!
Great round of golf. Never seen the course look this good. Plays well!
Fun little course
Great elevation changes! Fun little course. The mountain looked very dry while we were there so no surprise that the course reflected that too. But green enough to play on. Greens were not in very good shape at all but good enough to play on, especially with the awesome overall beauty of the course and surroundings. Lots of wildlife on the course which was a plus!
Good scenery, meh course
If you value a nice backdrop when you play golf this is your place. The fairways were fine, greens were horrific. Bumpy, dirt, grass slightly shorter than fairway grass. People working were great but this course is not worth the $80 I spent on a Saturday morning. First and last time at this course.
Awesome Challenging Course
Been wanting to play this course for 2 years finally got the chance to do that. Beautiful weather, beautiful course. The staff was very friendly. Looking forward to playing it again

Mountain too fun!
This was an unexpected Gem. We were a little leary of it being 9 holes but they had 2 flags on each green for each time you hit to the hole. It was a blast and we will be back again next time we are in Ruidoso

Best golf in Lincoln/Otero Counties
Nine hole course that is fun to play. The tee boxes are flat and well maintained as are the greens. The fairways are okay, not the best and you will have to move your ball occasionally. The maintenance crews are constantly working the course. The staff is outstanding. On this particular outing, I messed up my reservation on Golfnow and Rose handled the problem with no issues and I still got my original tee time. If you want to have a good time with no stress I highly recommend the Lodge.
