About Hyatt Regency Long Island

The Hyatt Regency Long Island is home to 358 guestrooms and suites, many of which overlook the Wind Watch Golf & Country Club. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool and hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool as well. The 24-hour StayFit Gym features various courts for tennis, volleyball and basketball as well as all the necessary strength and cardio equipment. The Nu Restaurant and Lounge serve up a menu with a variety of cocktails, entrees and small plates. Wind Watch is a semiprivate Clubcorp. facility with tennis, a pool, large practice area and indoor/outdoor dining at Seasons Grill.

Course was gorgeous

Really would recommend to a friend for this course. Staff was very nice, very easy going, and very friendly. Played early in morning but finished the round in under 3 hours. The layout and course design is definitely top notch for LI public courses. My only complaint (and not really a complaint as I played on November 9th and understand it is Fall) is the excessive amount of leaves in the rough. I lost a bunch of balls in these massive piles. The staff was blowing the leafs off the fairway instead of picking them up. Otherwise tremendous course and DEFINITELY will be back next season.

Beautiful day course was in great condition

Piece of play was a little slow ranger asked us to play faster, but we obviously could not play through the group in front of us who was painstakingly slow the entire day.

Slow play at Wind Watch

Teed off last Wednesday around 1:30 wasn’t very crowded but got to 13 group in front of us was so slow 14 and 15 were wide open might need a ranger to keep people moving
