The Hyatt Regency Long Island is home to 358 guestrooms and suites, many of which overlook the Wind Watch Golf & Country Club. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool and hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool as well. The 24-hour StayFit Gym features various courts for tennis, volleyball and basketball as well as all the necessary strength and cardio equipment. The Nu Restaurant and Lounge serve up a menu with a variety of cocktails, entrees and small plates. Good for a change of course if you play often
Great course but not necessarily worth the money. It plays nice but they never allowed walkers even if you are faster than cart players. It's a typical hamlet course. They all quite similar. Many holes are surrounded by condos/houses vs pretty trees & wildlife. But it plays good for intermediate golfers

Great course. Good pace, well kept. Walked, because of covid and still finished 4hrs 15m. Challenging holes, that play fair. Will be back, without a doubt.

Cancellation issue
I am a physician and was mandated to work in the hospital for the COVID-19 pandemic. I could not cancel even trying 4 days before. Very disappointed!!!
Next time that happens, give me a call, and I'll pay you for your reservation.

Nice Beginning on a Cold Daye
I had played this course many times. First time walking it due to COVID. It is tough walk due to the Course being built between houses in spots. Also long walk between 9 and 10. Course was in good shape. It was aerated at the endogenous last month and has grown in nicely.

Nice Course - Walking Rate Good Value
See above - 1 of the nicest public courses in western Suffolk County.

Nice round good pace of play
I have played this course many times before but this was the first time I walked it. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no motorized carts and no amenities open. Course was in very good shape but a few holes had a lot of leaves on it and two or three holes had some repairs going on with workers on the course. Overall a pretty nice course and I enjoy playing it but not a course I like to walk ordinarily. Pace of play was very good and only had to wait on holes about 3 times. The course has a few holes with some very steep hills, but overall mostly flat. Some challenging holes and greens were in very good shape.

Great Track
Golf was great. Just not understanding why courses don't have there half way house opened. Ever 7-11, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks and Mom and Pop places are opened. Just a thought

Country club feel
Great course. Plays like a private club. Mint condition, even after aeration. Lots of water and nicely kept bunkers. 1st and 10th holes really memorable downhill shots with amazing tee box views. A lot of forced water carries makes it fun, especially on the par 3's. Every hole is playable from the tips at 6600 yards. There's 2 stupid holes... 15th par 3 is 250 yards from the back tees making it a driver shot on a par 3?? And the 18th par 4 is straight uphill with a dogleg left that makes even a perfect drive roll way down to the right for a nasty approach. It's also more expensive than sister course Willow Creek, which is a much more interesting layout. But overall... probably top 5 public courses in the area.

i have played the course many times and the course is a challenging course that is well maintained. the staff at the pro shop and the pro running the course are accommodating and friendly.
