The Hyatt Regency Long Island is home to 358 guestrooms and suites, many of which overlook the Wind Watch Golf & Country Club. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool and hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool as well. The 24-hour StayFit Gym features various courts for tennis, volleyball and basketball as well as all the necessary strength and cardio equipment. The Nu Restaurant and Lounge serve up a menu with a variety of cocktails, entrees and small plates. A Good Fall Round.
This is a really nice golf course. Varied holes make the course a fun play. Challenging holes are mixed in with player friendly holes. Plays through some houses. For a late fall round the conditions were good. Greens were top dressed so they were not fast. The only other issue we’re leaves in some fairways that could have blown to the edges. Play moved at a good clip

Conditions are GREAT
Windwatch is always in Pristine condition. Greens are fast but true. Had frost delay today, can’t control the weather. They did there best to accommodate everyone. Cart girl out to us by the 4th hole. It’s nice to see, a lot of courses don’t put them out early. My foursome had a great day

A true challenge
You have to bring your A game to this course, as it has many challenges and will test all your golf shots. Narrow fairways and fast, sloping greens make it pretty tough to score well. Water hazards exist on most holes as well. Course is in tip top shape and is well maintained, one of the best public courses I have played on Long Island. I was just disappointed the halfway house was closed and no food available at the turn. But it is off season.

Had a few too many leaves on the course but that is hard to control with the trees and wind.
