Sunny Hill Resort and Golf Course is an all-inclusive resort in the Catskill Mountains. Home to more than a dozen lodging options, Sunny Hill caters to a guest's individual needs. Three family-style meals are prepared every day to feed visitors when they aren't out playing in the resort's 600 acres of golf, playgrounds, wooded trails, 5.5-mile obstacle course and watersports and fishing on Lake Loree. Unlimited daily activities and events give way to a lake party with fireworks every Friday night. The 4,316-yard Resort Course is for families, while the 6,482-yard Thunderhart Course is more challenging.

A bit disappointed

Friendly staff upon arrival. Got me off early. First 3 holes went great then turned into a super slow pace of play. Greens were in good condition but were very slow. Fairways and tee box’s were very hard and burned up. A fairly tight course and a nice layout. Couldn’t just hit driver off every tee. Course would have been rated much higher by me if pace of play was better and fairways were not so dry. Both are hit and miss depending on weather and who you get stuck behind. Not really the courses fault.

Great Day

The course was beautiful as always and the weather cooperated. Nothing better than golfing in the mountains in early summer. Staff was friendly and information. Course was packed and play was a little slow to start but opened up and led to 4.5hr 18 hole w cart day. Definitely going back.

Beautiful Course

Absolutely beautiful golf course.. challenging but not difficult to manage for any level golfers. Recommended for all especially for cost, you can't beat it.
