Sunny Hill Resort and Golf Course is an all-inclusive resort in the Catskill Mountains. Home to more than a dozen lodging options, Sunny Hill caters to a guest's individual needs. Three family-style meals are prepared every day to feed visitors when they aren't out playing in the resort's 600 acres of golf, playgrounds, wooded trails, 5.5-mile obstacle course and watersports and fishing on Lake Loree. Unlimited daily activities and events give way to a lake party with fireworks every Friday night. Family time
My wife and. I played with our son and daughter-in-law. Enjoyed the course and the day. Looking forward to the next time.
Fun and friendly environment
We, group of 8, had a spare time to enjoy golfing while staying at cabin in Catskill, and it ended up having the best day while golfing. Course was spotless, well cared. Greens were perfect. Not too easy, but just hard enough to be fun and challenging. Staff were all very friendly as well as all the players there. Planning to visit very soon.

Worth the trip!
Everytime I play thunderhart, I leave in good spirits. Staff and crew always friendly, greens hold incomng shots and roll true. Fairways and tees need some overseeding, but other than that, course plays challenging yet fair. Great mix of holes and shots. You will use every club in your bag. Will return a few times this year.

Thunderheart is a beautiful course, the deal I got on Golfnow was fantastic. Great round of golf with my son.
Wonderful course.
Beautiful course with beautiful views. Greens were in great shape along with the fairways and tee boxes. Wasn’t over busy, didn’t need to rush, slight wait due to elderly gentlemen enjoying their game.

Great views
in the mountains and a great view of the Catskills,First 9 is hilly with some water and the back 9 is more level with doglegs and a little more water.There is a lot of woods.
if you stayed in the fairway and rough you could find your ball.All the leaves was out of the playing area.Great place to play.
Our return to Thunderhart
My wife and I had played Thunderhart before but never their sister course Sunny Hill. This time we stayed over and played them both. The people you deal with are the best and always willing to do anything to help. It is a great value and both courses have excellent layouts with very interesting holes. Thunderhart is the true championship course while Sunny Hill is shorter with more par threes and very friendly to beginners while still challenging the better golfers. We had so much fun we are planning a trip next year with several couples. Can't wait
Do not book on GolfNow
Made a reservation through GolfNow. Paid $20 for the reservation, with the remainder to be paid at the course. Drove three hours from Long Island to the course, only to be told that there was an outing and they were not honoring reservations. Guy specifically said that they don't communicate with GolfNow and the app never seems to know whether they actually have the tee times they advertise.
Very rustic vourse
Very dry. No fairway. All grass like rough. Greens are slow
