Fun but difficult!
The course was in good shape except for the tee boxes and some areas of rough that were long bermuda that made finding a ball nearly impossible.
This course is fun and is always in my rotation when I am in the area. I must say though, as I've gotten older this coarse has become really difficult. Certainly not for the faint of heart!
The grill has the best golf-burgers you'll ever find! Give it a whirl!
Great coure
Very fair course, but not easy. Eve for November, course conditions top notch.
Great weekday value for money, but geared towards regulars
The course design is excellent with five sets of tee boxes where none of them feel like an afterthought. The residences come into play but except for a couple of holes with townhomes on them only the most errant of hitters will really notice. Very interesting and sometimes deceptive use of bunkers, so you really had to think about each shot - not "Target golf" but course knowledge would play a big role.
The massive challenge for a first time player like us was the lack of any meaningful yardage marking except for the 150 pole. No GPS on the cart is ok, but at least mark the sprinkler heads and the cart paths.
That said, the course was excellent overall, very friendly staff and a great value for the price. At noon on a weekday we had the course to ourselves until a single caught up to us as we were trying to figure out the 16th green. It is in a gated community so leave yourself a few extra minutes to arrive in case the gate house is busy.
Great course, difficult tee shots
It was a very well kept course, great staff, would go back!
Great Track!
For $54 bucks it’s one of the better courses I’ve played at that price. Very challenging, Greens rolled true, some blind shots into the green.
Perfect
Wow I was presently surprised how nice this course is. The greens are supreme. Fairways are also nice. Will play there again. Thanks so much.
Noice!
Great track - excellent value. First and certainly wont be my last. It may become my go to place to smack a few golf balls.
Great course and a great experience.
I played Anderson Creek on 10/5/21 for the first time. The pace of play was excellent, possibly due to it being cart path only that day. Every single staff member we encountered was very friendly, especially the ranger, who went out of his way to give us a quick tour of the facility. The practice area was very nice and the pro shop was well appointed. We tee’d off on time at 10:50 from the whites. The tee boxes were in good shape, fairways were gorgeous and the greens were well manicured and ran true. The greens are very FAST! I had such a great time, I came back and played the next day on 10/6/21 with my buddy. Highly recommend this gem of a course and I look forward to playing again very soon!
Worth the Trip From Raleigh
Course was in good shape, challenging, and worth the hour trip from Raleigh. It was nice to not have to sell one of my children to get a Sunday morning tee time as well. Will be back and hopefully I will play better!
Course great. Pace of play very slow.
Had a tournament in front of us on busy Saturday. Not sure why they weren’t scheduled for after 2pm. We hand 1230 tee time. Took 4 hours and 45 minutes to finish. Suggest not scheduling tournament on weekend with outside play mixed in.
Excellent course
This is a beautiful course the only complaint is the maintenance guy came in the fairway to mow an under brush. It was very loud and disruptive while I was in my backswing. I tried to catch him to advise him of the disrespect but he completely ignored me. We came up on the next tee box and their he was with his motor turned off giving respect to guys on the tee box. I wonder why he disrespected us? Otherwise it was a great day and will be back!
