About Anderson Creek Club
The Anderson Creek Club is a 1,700-acre gated community where new homes and resort amenities keep residents and guests satisfied. It is the nearest gated community to Fort Bragg near Fayetteville, N.C., and 45 minutes south of Raleigh, N.C. A comfortable inn near the clubhouse allows golfers to stay in suites with one king bed or two queen beds, full kitchens, living and dining areas and a private pool outside. There are also one-bedroom condos available on the course, a hilly Davis Love III design through the surrounding forest.Facts

First visit!
Great course, enjoyed everything about this course. Very friendly staff! Will definitely play on next visit.
Enjoyable round
We had a morning tee time. The range and putting green were nice. The greens were in very good condition and rolled very true. The grass could be a bit sparse on the tee boxes sometimes, but it was not too bad. A lot of large bunkers came into play on the course. The ranger found one of our guy's clubs and returned it to us at the 18th green without even having to go back and look for it. The golf carts had very good acceleration and were the type that stopped/slowed down automatically when you took your foot off the gas. I think all of us enjoyed the round and would return.

They were working on the greens and it was not good for putting. It will a couple weeks before the greens come back.

Very nice but punched
Course plays a bit tough but is nice for the challenge. They recently aerated so putting was hard but we had a great time.

Worst shape
Worst shape I’ve ever seen this golf course. Not many times I feel like I’ve been ripped off playing somewhere but today was the day. Weeds have taken over this course. The rough is straight weeds & Fairway is crab grass. Pace of play is non existent and the Rangers do nothing when a group won’t let you through. Spend ur money at Hyland or Keith Hills.
Great course
Love the course, love the layout, but hate the grass height if your not in the fairway. It would play more fair to have an intermediate cut of rough before I trickle into that US OPEN rough. Would make it just a bit more enjoyable I think.

It was rough
Have played here many times. First time this year. Usually pretty good, but not so much this time Very wet which was to be expected, but the rough was high. Miss the fairway or green and spend five minutes finding the ball. Greens hadn’t been cut in a while. It’s going to take a few weeks to dry out and for the staff to catch up with cutting.

Needs a lot of work
The course was wet, which was expected after the storm. The tee boxes need a lot of work and were full of weeds. It’s not in good shape. I was disappointed with the shape of the course.
