best course
was totally surprised at the conditions the course was in super shape greens rolled flat and true due to cold weather and was not pushed or had to wait on any hole
Incredible course. Top to bottom.
I’ve played Rocky River around 6-8 times now, and it’s hands down my favorite course in the Charlotte area.
Course doesn’t have a blemish on it. Staff is hilarious, and handles business, range and putting green is solid, and the list goes on.
You’ll have great opportunities to let loose with driver all day, few tight holes but mostly pretty open. Sweet green complexes, and awesome par 3’s.
On top of all that, it is the most American course of all time. You’re dead next to a 4 wide drag racing strip, a dirt track, and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Mint, will be back soon a lot.
Good quality course
First time playing this in town visiting a friend. In great condition with fast greens. Pace could have been better waiting on every tee box but believe there was a tournament going on (went off at 11am on a Saturday). Would play again
Excellent condition
The course is in excellent shape. Some tee boxes need help. Clubhouse construction limits snack bar.
Good greens
One of the better public courses near Charlotte. Greens, fairways and bunkers in good shape. A decent layout. Good value with deals on Golf now.
Great course. Conditions were perfect and staff were great. Look forward to the clubhouse renovation being completed. Highly recommend the course.
Fun/fair course
A very straightforward course with plenty of wide fairways but enough dog legs to keep it interesting. Great course to hone your game. Conditions were exceptional, especially given this time of year.
Not bad
Staff friendly, cart girl visited a few times, driving range on mats. Clubhouse concessions AC was broken so setup in hallway with limited options. Had brake issues with one cart and a few par 4/5 holes were cart path only. Overall liked the course and mowing was good. Myself and partner only lost 2 balls combined during the round (as compared to over a dozen at Birkdale last weekend, including several along the fairway).
Always a Solid Track
Rocky River is always a solid track. Great fairways and greens
Nice track
Nice course and requires some local knowledge to avoid challenging second shots.
