The views are magnificent, but the condition of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens is abhorrent. We also had to wait on almost every shot. Needed to use the restroom at round's end and it was locked. Would recommend for the views.

Sequoyah National is a mountain course with severe elevation changes. Players without playing experience on the course may find it daunting.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. Amenities include range balls and carts with GPS including audio playing tips.

The greens are in very good condition. Fairway turf is sparse on a number of holes and it is necessary to play preferred lies. The rough... do not go there.

Balancing the difficulty and severity of the course are the awe inspiring vistas afforded the golfer. Excellent signage describing the culture and history of the area is located at each tee box.

A round at SN provides the player with superb vistas and challenging shots.

Not a huge fan of the green undulations. The layout tee to green was fantastic, but very spotty as far as conditions go. some spots/holes looked immaculate while other areas looked like Carl Spaclar had been chasing the gopher there. If you can find a sub $50 fee on golf now I'd say its worth the try.

The course is extremely challenging but absolutely beautiful nested among the mountains. The greens are not cut too close and are slow in the morning but improve in the afternoon with the heat. Expect to walk many holes because there are wire barriers along most of the cart paths. There are some fabulous heights from which you hit down into the valley below which is both interesting and challenging. Must keep the ball on the fairways or it will be difficult to find in the unmowed grass along the fairways. Fun experience.

Amazing views and the most elevation change in a golf course i have seen. Great layout and a wonderful round of golf, they have done a lot of work the last two year making the course more playable. The tall grass has been mowed and finding stray balls is easy. I would reccomend this course for a memorable round of golf. By far one of the most scenic courses I have played. The tees were in average condition, the fairways in good condition and the greens were very slow, (rolled fine and played good, just very slow for a course this nice). A challenging but fair course, played 36 and finished the first round in 3 hours and the second in 4 and a half.

This is the 2nd time that my son & I have played Sequoyah National. The pace of play is as it should be, the course is challenging & there are spectacular views. We will definitely play this course again on our next trip to the area.

Course in great condition a lot of fun holes course is challenging but you can still use your driver great views course is worth the cost

this is a great course with fun, challenging holes. shot placement is a must. the views are great and course is well maintained.

Scenic views everywhere but don't let them distract you from your goal; to play a good round of golf. Pay close attention to the GPS in the carts and play strategic golf around this course and you can score.

Beautiful course. Lots of trouble off the fairways. Move up a tee to really enjoy your round.

We golfed this course on a Saturday afternoon. It was a great experience from the first to last tee. You have to hit straight and play to the 150 markers, so club selection key. The cement cart paths and GPS really helped keep the pace up and to handle on this elevation . This is one of the nicest courses I have ever played and the Starter Chris helped explain the layout and history behind the course. Well manicured fairway, Hilton Head quality sand and great view of the Smokies. Only draw back 11 hour drive from Canada, so won,t be replaying until next year

Very slow, over 5 hours on a Thur. no rangers. Greens the best and truest I've seen here in 4 years, not real fast but good shape.

Great course although very hilly and long walks between cart and ball. Greens a little slow because they just airiated.

This course has a very interesting design. Lot's of elevation changes which means club selection takes some real thought. Greens were in good condition, fairways were okay, but a few tee boxes were very rough.

You can't beat the fantastic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This is a great place to play while visiting the area. Very friendly tees for seniors, women, and beginners.

Played 4 holes alone and caught 3some, invited to play along. Offered great local knowledge. As picturesque as you will play in this area. Course recovering from recent aeration but still better than most that are in good shape. Par 3's are a test. Great risk/reward holes. I will be back and it's 2.5 hours from me.

This may be one of the most senic courses I have ever played. There are several holes that have 360 degree views of the surrounding area of Cherokee NC. Though the round was extemely slow, probably due to the number of people playing and the difficulty of the course, I would like to return for another round at this track! Our group played the tips but I would only recommend that for players with handicaps in the low single digits. From back there we played one 245 yd and 215 yd. par threes. The greens were quite slow and would like to see them more consistant and speedy. Overall fun and challenging even for handicappers.

I loved this course. Even though the conditions aren't ideal, the greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were more than acceptable. I will definitely return at a different time of the year to enjoy.

My husband and I went to Cherokee for a fun night at the casino and decided to play a round of golf the next day. This course is fabulous and the views are breathtaking. Greens were rolling smooth and fast and the staff members were extremely friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone.
