About Kilmarlic Golf Club
The Kilmarlic Golf Club is one of the anchor courses of North Carolina's beautiful Outer Banks. As a former host of the North Carolina Open in 2004 and 2009, the course is kept in tournament condition. It also includes a four-hole short course from 27 to 45 yards. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom Cottages at Kilmarlic house golf groups looking to stay. Adjacent to the cottages is a lighted putting green and the Westside Athletic Club with 8 tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness facilities, complimentary yoga classes and an outdoor basketball court. The Black Tartan Tap Room serves burgers, signature sandwiches and salads to hungry golfers.Facts

Fantastic course and staff
Hidden Gem for the OBX area. Challenging course with varying tees for players of all skill levels. You really need to keep your ball in play or you w can easily loose a dozen. I love playing here but there can be a pace of play issue due to difficulty of course. It was a six hour rd in carts. That needs to be addressed more vigorously. Highly recommend with a caveat that you need to bring your patience for slow play
Great Vacation Course
I recently played Kilmarlic Golf Club while I was on vacation in OBX. Easily one of the best golf courses I’ve ever played. From the course conditions to the staff friendliness and attentiveness. I also played this course in March, so the grass was dormant, but the course was still in beautiful condition. Would recommend to anyone going on a trip to the outer banks and taking a morning to hit the links.
Outer Banks Must Play
Terrific Outer Banks course. Love the layout and strategic layout. Conditions were very good.
No boring moment
Even though it was freezing cold and windy and there was no other players, I am so glad that we went to this course. Definitely recommend it the golf lovers. I am now looking for a house to buy in this golf community .
Great place to play
Kilmarlic is a must if you are playing golf in the Outer Banks. A beautiful course, challenging layout, and a great staff!

Awesome course.. Great value for the money. Friendly staff. Definitely on the list to play in the future.
Not worth the money
Might be due to weather, maybe the season, but course was WET! Water on fairways, very soft fairways, greens missing spots. Had fun, wasnt unplayable by any means, just needs work. Got a discount play at $81.00 through golf now but dont know if its worth that. Nice club house, seemed like nice housing on course, but play was little less than desired. Carts delivered as soon as we arrived, and very friendly staff on start. Kilmarlic is a name I regarded as High End and Perfect, but this trip didnt meet it. Maybe COVID maybe just weather, at $60 id play again, but anymore Ill try elsewhere. Check reviews closer to date for conditions.
