Disappointing Round
We have played this course several times but not in a few years. The course is interesting and there are many nice but difficult holes. Unfortunately what was once pristine is no longer. The bunkers needed sand, the paths needed grass, yardage markers were hard to find, and the overall impression was that it was rundown and old. The course needs much maintenance to restore it to its old beauty.
Definitely play this course if you are visiting the Outer Banks
I’ve been going to the Outer Banks for a long time and usually we play nags head, golf links, which is fun but short and on the water with a ton of wind. This is a championship style course that was in great shape, the staff was awesome and they do a really nice job all around. Really looking forward to the next time I get to play it.

Absolutely loved everything about this course from tee box to greens. Great place to play and well worth the money
Great Course
We really enjoyed playing this course. The course was a fun layout with interesting / fun hazards. Stayed in Duck and was about a 30 minute drive but worth it.
Beautiful Course Unfriendly Staff Member
The course conditions and layout were great. The staff member screaming at 2 members of our party because they hit with our 4some while waiting behind other groups was unacceptable and ruined the entire round. They left after 9 because of it. Terrible business sense and we will never be back. Over $1000 spent to be yelled at by staff over nothing. It was slower for them to lag behind than just stay with the group.
Beautiful course but…..
No ranger. Two groups ahead of us that must of been first time golfers. No ranger. Almost a 6 hour round. Why? No ranger.

Perfect. Polite and golf knowledgeable staff. Drinks and cart girl were great. Staff was taking care of the course while we were playing and it showed bc it was in great condition. Can’t say anything bad
Vacation Golf
I’ve played 3 courses in OBX region and this one was by far my favorite course. Layout was great. Beautiful course.
Couple groups ahead of us in front 9 slowed it a bit to start but still finished the round around 3 1/2. Would be my first. Choice when in area
Cart players
Even tho I have played this course before, this time around in the summer I hated that you cant drive most of the holes and its cart path only. Playing alone sucked because I walked more of this course than I should have. There was also no snack cart. I did use the coolers on the course. Just beware you will walk this course.
