About Kilmarlic Golf Club
The Kilmarlic Golf Club is one of the anchor courses of North Carolina's beautiful Outer Banks. As a former host of the North Carolina Open in 2004 and 2009, the course is kept in tournament condition. It also includes a four-hole short course from 27 to 45 yards. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom Cottages at Kilmarlic house golf groups looking to stay. Adjacent to the cottages is a lighted putting green and the Westside Athletic Club with 8 tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness facilities, complimentary yoga classes and an outdoor basketball court. The Black Tartan Tap Room serves burgers, signature sandwiches and salads to hungry golfers.Facts

Great course
Loved the layout. Greens are perfect. Tees and fairways really good. Only minus is the collars around the greens. They need a little attention especially when compared to the shape of the rest of the course. Overall great experience.
Excellent trek
Very enjoyable round!! No real arrival or course ending attention but overall enjoyable place to play!!
Slooooowww
We played at 9am on a beautiful Sunday and it was still a 5+ hour round. We waited on every tee and usually every approach shot. It’s a nice, well kept course and a fun layout but 5+ hour rounds are never acceptable, especially when you are paying well over $100 for the round.
Good course
This is a well maintained course that is visually beautiful. The greens are fast and the course is tight. Overall a tough course. Staff was really friendly. We got behind three foursomes playing a tournament, so play was slow. Overall a good choice to play if you're visiting the Outer Banks.
Not worth the cost.
Don't get me wrong, this course was fun and challenging, but the cost was not worth it. The layout is solid and the green were well kept. On the other hand, the carts are very derelict and the amenities lack what you would expect for the price tag.
Recommend taking a drive above 30min north to Eagle Creek to play if you can.
Challenging but fun
We had a great round as one of our 4some shot a 74 with an eagle on 18, really an exciting round.
