don’t waste your time
I played this course one time approximately a year or two ago and really enjoyed it. My friends and I went there today and charged us twice as much to play as anyone else… The course has a great layout but it is an all around dog track. the greens were awful and the fairways were soaking wet (haven’t had rain in 5 days). No one in the pro shop notified us that they just punched and sanded the greens either. it was like putting on a dirt road. I will never go back to this course
Eh, pricey for the track
Usually when you travel an hour outside of Raleigh, and tee off at 745 you would expect a fairly quick round. Not so much. Every hole we waited. And the group in front waited. Not sure where the problem started. Greens are good. Fairways are ok shape right now. Fairly nice layout. Will not travel back though.
Great course
Great course. Nice layout very challenging. Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful greens. Will definitely return.
Nice track
Only problem was when I checked in my hot deal$85.oo x 4== apps.340.00. Problem was when local paid for his four it was 35.00x4 =$140.00. Did not think it was such a hot deal.I will not be looking for any more hot deals onGN
PS I have 10 purchases this year so see ya!
We have played Legacy on our annual trip for the past 4 years. We love the layout - good variety of holes. The greens were excellent. However, we all felt the course conditions had deteriorated over the last year. Fairways were thin and had bare spots and some of the areas around the greens were quite rough. They need to invest in some grounds maintenance.
Loved it
I've played Legacy at least 5 times in the last year, and it just keeps getting better and better. It was in outstanding condition this time around.
The best set of par 3's I've played in North Carolina, without question.
Great conditions
The fairways and tees are over seeded, greens are rolling great. Pace was a little slow but course was packed. Awesome course to play, great layout
A Real Gem
I learned how to play golf on this course shortly after it opened! My father was a cart guy for over 15 years! To this day its overall my favorite course! Staff is awesome and course is always in great shape!
Beautiful layout
What a great day we had, and even after all the weeks of rain in the Sandhills, we were able to take carts on the fairway and enjoy our round of golf. The greens were superb, fast and true.
