Overpriced for poor course conditions. No grass on driving range. Very disappointing.
Enjoyed playing this course so much that our son is considering purchasing a home on the course! Got paired up with another father and son and had a great round. Had to stay cart path only as the area had considerable rain the previous days. Great course!
Pace of play
Luv the layout and water holes but pace of play was maddening. Know it was a warm Sunday but tee time was 1:20, started at 1:30, at the turn it was almost 4. On 10 the tee box was three groups deep. Adding a few minutes to tee spacing would really help.

Legacy is by far the best bang for your buck in Moore County! Great conditions, and love the new renovated clubhouse!
Spray painted goat ranch
$60 a round for this track is absurd. Not in good shape. Greens are ok, but everything is neon green and beat to dirt.
Great day in the Sandhills
The course was in great shape for wintertime golf. Fairways were nice and the greens were smooth and true. Not much grain in them at all. Bunkers were well maintained and had been groomed that morning? Weather was superb and the camaraderie was even better! I would recommend the Legacy to anyone who enjoys good courses!

Good selection of available tee times. A great value, beautiful and peaceful course in superb condition.
Play It Now!
This was my first time at the course so wasn’t sure what to expect. Learned that it had just been bought by Talamore. Therefore the course was already getting some new renovations (brand new club house, some tee boxes being added, and even a new green under construction, and a halfway house). Overall course was beautiful to play and offered some low risk opportunities to go for it.
Only downside is not having a cart girl during round which was magnified because at the turn the club house was a ways away. This will soon be solved when the halfway house is built.
Coursed charged full price for cancelled round
Pro shop decided to charge full price for a round I cancelled over a week before the tee time. They tried to blame Golfnow even though their point of sale system charged me. Stay clear!
Working to improve
I really enjoyed the layout of the course. You can see that they are working to improve the course, adding new tee boxes and working on the clubhouse. The tee boxes are in need or some TLC. Most are fairly bare from overuse. Some bare spots in the fairways. Not worth the current price. The grass on the range is well used and does not have good area to hit from.
Great for $55
So I used a coupon code from GolfNow to play and got on for $55 each for four of us. I think that was great for the course. Not sure if Id pay $129-159 regular price though. We came during the remodel so couldnt give many stars for off course amenities but they had a converted connex as the golf shop with enough stuff that you would need if you forgot anything. The staff was super friendly and they were kind enough to push our tee time back when one of my guys was late. Overall its great, just not sure if Id pay the regular price. Would definitely go back for $55 a round which apparently is a steal for that course. Not to mention I drove the green on hole 15!
Great day at Legacy
Haven't played the course since last year. Very much improved. Great layout. Paved cart paths big plus. Challenging and fun, used all my clubs.
